It's true that getting there is a bit of a hassle, but what a treat!!

The veal with tuna sauce is amazing.
The tartare is excellent, beautifully seasoned.
The eggplant flan is amazing, not to mention the basil gnocchi and vegetable risotto.
The fruit cake is superb, and the Nebbiolo wine is superb.
The review of the dishes is very welcome, given their deliciousness, and the waiters are exquisitely kind and friendly.
I'll definitely be back!

Maybe my favorite restaurant in all of Italy. I've been here three times over the past four years, and it never disappoints. The food is traditional Italian but also creative — they offer a solid standard menu alongside rotating seasonal dishes. Portion sizes, quality, and pricing are all perfectly balanced.
The waiter took the time to understand our wine preferences and gave spot-on recommendations. The whole staff is friendly, helpful, and patient.
We're not big on desserts, but if you are, their dessert cart is impressive — you can pick and choose from a beautiful selection.
A must-visit if you're in the area!

Nice place, slightly challenging to get there especially if you don't like mountain roads (however everything is paved up to the restaurant).
We ate quite well even if for my taste the dishes could have been more abundant: here you find quality, but in the mountains in the middle of the woods I would have also liked a little more quantity.
Good wine list.
Service with a smile, friendly and helpful.
The bill is a little steep.

In occasione della festa della Repubblica siamo tornati in questo posto dopo diverso tempo. In precedenza avevamo sempre mangiato molto bene, e tutto è stato confermato anche in questa occasione, anzi, il livello della cucina si è elevato e di conseguenza ahimè anche i prezzi non esattamente economici. Tuttavia a parte qualche eccezione (vedi vitello tonnato a 14€) i prezzi sono giustificati dalla qualità dei piatti.
Servizio impeccabile ed il carrello dei dolci direttamente al tavolo è sempre un bel momento. Ottima la carta dei vini ed anche lo sfuso (nel nostro caso Nebbiolo) decisamente valido.
Un posto dove vale la pena andare nonostante non si trovi esattamente a portata di mano.
