We had a great meal, very homely. The service was very friendly and impeccable. As for the restaurant, it could use a bit of a makeover!

"Game ragù" isn't worth much if it doesn't say which one. "Polenta uncia" isn't worth much if it doesn't say "what." It seems to be very successful; the place was packed for a Monday lunch, but I don't know if it's because of the quality or the lack of competition. Maybe I'm just being picky.

This is a historic restaurant I just discovered while working nearby. The menu is excellent quality and reasonably priced. All-inclusive €15 Abundant and always well-cooked.

It was 100 years old local restaurant, everyone was friendly and evn they didn’t speak proper English was they did thier best to help us. Fresh delicious everybody was ordering Milanese but we try somethingels

Bellavista

14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.
13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!
