I went there with relatives for Bagna Cauda Day. It's a no-frills place with excellent service. The Bagna Cauda was exceptional. Well done.

I ate some fried porcini mushrooms, which I would say were superb.

We found this restaurant by chance, looking for a place to eat. We read all the reviews, so we decided to take a chance, and it looks like we were right. They offered us a table on the terrace with a wonderful view, even though we were on the highway, you could hear the sound of the river. We started with a sampling of polenta with tuma cheese. They served us three types of polenta with this Toma cheese fondue, followed by a splendid mushroom risotto, perhaps a little al dente, but definitely better than overcooked... And to finish on a high note, a bonet with gianduia cream, which was truly blissful.

Very friendly and distinguished service. Spotlessly clean bathroom. Very good house wine (unlike other places that sell you bad wine). Excellent polenta, served both classic and whole wheat in various flavors. Tagliatelle with pheasant ragù, which I'm already dreaming about for next time 😅 Outdoor seating with a mountain view. Excellent value for money and service. We were on a trip to Varallo, a truly wonderful discovery; we'll definitely be back.
