Ristorante Foresta In

I stopped for a quick business lunch with a colleague. We had fried seafood for two, desserts, coffee and water. We ate well but the bill of Euro 84.00 was a bit too excessive.... at least the air conditioning had been turned on.....

Very nice place with an internal glass room and a wonderful terrace directly on the sea. Very kind staff and sublime food, above average for the restaurants in the area. The price is right for the quality of the raw material and the care of the dishes. Highly recommended!

Romantic location overlooking the sea and offering a splendid view. To start, they brought us a small welcome entrée: a tuna mousse accompanied by some pieces of focaccia. My raw seafood was very fresh and the caviar was excellent quality. I recommend the risotto with Franciacorta bubbles and red shrimp tartare, very good! The wine list is well-stocked. The prices are quite high but in line with the quality of the food and the location. The staff is kind and attentive to the customer. I recommend!

Pleasant place on the marina with a retro feel and a view of the sea. The cuisine is of a good standard, where the quality of the raw materials is the strong point. This is confirmed by the truly remarkable steamed fish and shellfish, in terms of flavour, preparation of the dish, and also quantity. The cellar follows the cuisine with a good menu, with the right number of labels and its assortment. Regarding the wine list, the prices have a fair mark-up, on average below the market average. Adequate service. The price is absolutely in line with the quality of the food, service and location. Definitely worth trying!

I went with friends on Sunday for lunch super super fresh food beautiful dishes and excellent compliments to the owner the chef and all the staff excellent service I recommend it. Cheers

The Foresta restaurant in Marina di Pisa is a historic name that once represented luxury and culinary excellence. An exclusive place, frequented by those who could afford the best. Today, however, it seems to live more on reputation than substance. Undoubtedly, the strong point of the restaurant is its privileged position: overlooking the sea, it offers a splendid view, perfect for a romantic dinner or for a special occasion. The equipment is also elegant, maintaining a certain standard of refinement that recalls the glories of the past. Unfortunately, it is precisely in the cuisine that the experience did not live up to expectations. Considering the high price, one would expect excellent raw materials and dishes without defects, but this was not the case. The dishes did not shine either in taste or freshness, leaving a feeling of disappointment compared to the level that the restaurant would like to represent. The cost is very high, and this in itself would not be a problem, if it were justified by impeccable cuisine. But when the dishes are not up to par, the final bill is disproportionate to the experience. The Foresta restaurant remains a place of great charm due to its location and atmosphere, but the quality of the food is not aligned with its prestigious past nor with the prices asked. A wasted opportunity for a place that could still be a local restaurant institution.

Bella location proprio sul mare. Buoni i piatti, troppo caro e servizio non all’altezza. Una vaporata costa 50€, mi aspetto che sia superlativa, invece niente di che e anche misera come quantità. Va bene pagare ma tutto deve essere all’altezza.

Ho cenato in questo ristorante dopo avere letto recensioni pesantemente negative ed altre meravigliose. Non corrispondono al vero, a mio parere, né le une né le altre. Vero i prezzi sono al di sopra della qualità delle vivande, i sapori non fanno “sognare” la presentazione dei piatti e’ al di sotto delle attese, quindi l’esperienza non esalta assolutamente nulla di terribile. Ottima la focaccia servita con il pane.
