Pure Umbria, served by an older gentleman who also buys and cooks all the food. He has been active there for decades. Has a lot of local guests, which speaks for itself. A special, fine and experience and as such rather cheap.

This restaurant managed by Mr. Gino, who worked alone in the kitchen and at the tables, was truly an excellent discovery. The ideal place for those who want to appreciate typical Umbrian family cuisine, in a sincere place, where authenticity comes first. The trio of Umbrian soups is highly recommended. We enjoyed here a rather unusual and very delicious lunch. The gracious proprietor was yesterday also the waiter and cook. We were treated to a sampler of legume based soups, all quite different, each marked by deft seasoning and marvelous olive oil. We had 4 delicious pastas, after which the ladies couldn,t manage another bite. Husbands followed with carefully grilled lamb and sausage, grilled eggplant, chocolate torta, and a wonderful panna cotta al caramello. This is my idea of the best Italian home cooking - simple ingredients of excellent quality, cooked perfectly, and generously served.

As soon as we arrived in Perugia we came across this little place. Homemade flavours, very kind owner, typical products and good raw materials. Small and welcoming place. Get advice on choosing dishes, you won't regret it. The best panna cotta in Italy, unforgettable!
