Gino, the owner, cook, and often waiter, does everything himself, even the morning grocery shopping for the restaurant. Excellent, authentic, and unpretentious, typical Perugian home cooking. It's popular with locals and tourists, but it's not a tourist magnet. In summer, you can eat outside in the open-air space in front of the entrance. Recently, it's only open for lunch; for dinner, reservations are required, and probably only for groups.
This small restaurant, just steps from the center of Perugia, offers traditional dishes with simple, yet flavorful, cuisine.
We had a great time.
