Kind, welcoming... A unique place nestled in the woods and surrounded by silence

I celebrated my 60th birthday here just yesterday and was very satisfied, as were all my relatives who came from outside Spoleto. The service was excellent, prompt and friendly, and the food was excellent, despite the fact that the group had several health issues and therefore required special attention and precautions. This is one of those places where, once you've passed through and walked through every square meter of its spaces and environments, steeped in history and illustrious figures, you can confidently call it a place of the soul. Immersed in the natural greenery of the sacred forest and located at the summit of Monteluco, it was experienced as a restaurant, at the end of the climb starting from the Ponte delle Torri. A hospitable and sincere tasting menu, with generous and expertly cooked dishes, aided by an equally expressive and sincere house red, one can only express a more than positive opinion of the quality of the meal we enjoyed. Polite and efficient service, popular bill, excellent service, it's a restaurant that begs you to return as soon as possible.

Three nights with family and friends to explore Umbria: hotel 10 minutes from Spoleto, small but clean rooms. The property is slightly dated, but the friendly owners make you feel like you're staying with family. The place is quiet and cool, a good base for exploring the surrounding area.
