It was my first experience in a starred restaurant, I must say I had a great time.
The staff was very kind and the service was carried out paying a lot of attention to detail even while the corresponding courses were being explained.
The staff was also able to put us at ease, I recommend this experience.

Simply amazing. Every aspect, from the cuisine to the attention given to the guests, is taken care of with intelligence and elegance. The overall experience, between high-level culinary inventions and full care of the guest, suggests the arrival of a second star. Many compliments to the chef and his entire young team.
Every detail is designed to offer a complete sensory experience. The location is simply splendid, curated with taste and harmony, capable of creating an intimate and at the same time contemporary atmosphere.
The service is impeccable: attentive, discreet, but always present. The tableware is a chapter apart — refined, studied in the smallest details, in perfect balance with the philosophy of the place and the dishes offered.
In the kitchen, you can perceive a confident and curious hand: the raw materials are mostly self-produced, enhanced by intelligent experimentation, particularly in the field of fermentations, which gives the dishes depth and originality.

Incredible experience in a splendid setting. All the dishes were delicious, but what struck us the most was the service: a pampering from the beginning to the end of the lunch, absolutely beyond all expectations. An absolutely incredible experience. A place created from an old farmhouse and renovated respecting the soul of the structure. Large green spaces with scented flowers welcome you at the entrance and deliver you into the expert hands of the staff of the Ristorante Famiglia Rana who will pamper you with kindness and professionalism for the entire duration of the experience. Because it is not a normal meal but a surprising journey into the past memories and future dreams of chef Sodano. The chef offers three courses, one with his most 'signature' dishes, one with more experimental dishes and one vegetal. We chose the experimental menu (,"The Doors") and it left us speechless. Of the 10 courses I did not find one that was not excellent. In my opinion Famiglia Rana has done a huge amount of research and preparation, with the result of a restaurant that is more than a gem, it is a milestone of Italian cuisine. Truly compliments to the chef and all his staff, we can't wait to go back!

Pranzo stellato dallo Chef Sodano e dal suo prezioso Staff di Sala in casa Rana.
Ambiente minimalista e curato dove il mix di food & beverage, attenzione ai dettagli e qualità del servizio, hanno reso la nostra esperienza davvero piacevole.
Abbiamo optato per il menu degustazione “the Doors” dove la Cucina gioca con garbo e brio in consistenze, colori e gusto.
Tanta tecnica in tutti i piatti ma al contempo semplicità e direzione chiara al palato.
Una selezione variegata di benvenuti e pre-dessert assieme ad un pranzo di 6 portate ricco e ben eseguito.
Vino suggerito e servizio eseguito con eleganza ed attenzione.
Per il prezzo 130 euro a testa (escluso bere) MERITATISSIMO.

Location: etwas außerhalb vom Ort, direkt von einer gut befahrenen und langweiligen Straße fährt man über ein kleines Stück Privatstrasse und Parkplatz an die Villa. Garten und Villa waren abends (leider dunkel) sehr nett angestrahlt. Alles machte schon von außen einen tollen Eindruck. Die Scheiben an dem Miniwintergarten am Eingang waren so sauber geputzt, daß mein Mann glatt gegengelaufen ist ;-)
Innen einfach schön. Dezent, modern und dennoch gemütlich, schöne Beleuchtungsfarbe (die Tischlampe wurde mehrmals weggedreht, dann hat sie auch nicht mehr geblendet), die Service"jungs" in lässigem Outfit, die Temperatur perfekt
Essen und Trinken: es gibt eine riesige Weinkarte, außer Flaschen werden auch Gläser angeboten. Es gibt 3 verschiedene Menue"richtungen", das traditionelle, das experimentelle und das vegetarische Menue. Wir entschieden uns für das tradizionelle 10-Gänge-Menue ... später dachten wir, 8 Gänge hätten dicke gereicht. Es gab Meeresgetier, Fisch und der letzte Gang Fleisch, sehr viele verschiedene Kleinigkeiten, die teilweise am Tisch montiert wurden. Die Geschmacksrichtungen waren sehr vielfältig, für mich persönlich hätte es weniger Kaviar gebraucht. Alle Gänge waren speziell, mir schmeckte nur die Pasta nicht - aber: Fenchelkraut und das ist so gar nicht meins. Alle anderen Gerichte waren ausgezeichnet, mein Favorit: die asiatische Soße zur Garnele hmmmmm. Am Ende waren wir pappsatt und glücklich.
Service: superaufmerksam, zu einem Schwätzchen bereit aber völlig unaufdringlich
Preis/Leistung: 185 Euro für 10 Gänge ... die 6 hätte es für 130 Euro gegeben - Mittagsmenues werden mit 4 Gängen für 70 Euro angeboten - und ja, es lohnt sich - Sternchenessen macht man ja nicht an jedem Tag. Die Weinbegleitung fanden wir zu teuer. Es gibt Flaschenweine ab 38 Euro und nach oben fast ohne Limit.
Empfehlung: auf jeden Fall - ist auch eine kleine Reise wert !
