Whenever I'm in Piedmont, I always return to this restaurant, with its slightly retro decor, where you can breathe in the Piedmontese atmosphere, right down to the manager's warm welcome. Impeccable and courteous service. The restaurant is always busy, so reservations are recommended. I've already written about the food: it's always varied and seasonal. The turnip flan, artichoke salad, braised veal, and Gragnano pasta al brucio are excellent. We also treated ourselves to a delicious bonnet, a hazelnut cake. FossMarai wine, always a sure thing.
I forgot about the house salami, which I shamelessly ordered a second helping.
The quality and prices are reasonable.

Like every year, we came here for Christmas lunch, and once again, it left us wanting to return. The rice with artichokes and shrimp was excellent, as was the seared tuna with mustard, and the roast goat, not to mention the delicious nougat parfait (I ate two).
You must try their burnia appetizer, the crostata (when I go, I have a whole one made to go), and the hazelnut cake with zabaglione.
As far as I'm concerned, one of the best restaurants.
The staff is young, knowledgeable, attentive, but above all, kind and always smiling.

It's now a weekly event for us that we can't miss. Upon reservation, the excellent bagna cauda, boiled meat, spaghetti with clams (which aren't even this good at the seaside), warm octopus salad with potatoes, and freshly made gnocchi with gorgonzola cream (for lovers, even in summer...amazing), fresh pasta, and, if you like, fried mushrooms and their pickled porcini mushrooms burnia, are also available. Everything is rigorously homemade, and the quality of the ingredients is top-notch, a delight for the eyes and the palate.

A historic establishment in a prime location opposite Chieri train station, with convenient and ample parking. Traditional cuisine is beautifully prepared with high-quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. A must-visit for wine lovers: the selection and prices are sure to please everyone.
