The space outside the hotel is very beautiful and quaint.
We had some problems with the room assigned to us upon arrival, but at the reception they were understanding and assigned us a different room.
Too bad that the new room had a problem with the toilet drain which caused a bad smell. We didn't report it to the front desk because we didn't feel like changing the room a second time. However, we took it back to a cleaner. He said he would do something, and maybe they did. Unfortunately, however, the problem remained for the entire period of stay (4 nights).
We had the impression that the rooms were 4 star 30 years ago, but no upgrades have been done in the meantime. The showers have limescale, the joints are discolored, the wall lights are dated. The TVs are dated LCD TVs, barely 30 inches.
The pool outside is nice but from the photos on Google it seems much much bigger.
The breakfast is excellent, plentiful and varied.
However, the prices of the cocktails are disproportionate, 15 euros for an Aperol spritz. We hoped that after our experience they would offer a discount on the cocktails but unfortunately nothing.
The hotel is a little out of the way but if you have a car it's not that bad.
Note: There are cars parked on either side of the hotel entrance, which makes street visibility limited when trying to exit through the gate.
