They are selling comfort and they know it.
The sign outside says that they have AC inside. The hostess outside even told us in English that they have air-conditioning inside but only if you buy food.
It's also an extra €2.50 per person at the table so just be aware before you go in.
The pizza is about 10" in diameter and the bruschetta we got was only 4 slices of baguette. It all tasted good despite the smaller portions than other restaurants we have visited here.

The service was good. All the servers were very attentive and extremely friendly. Every single employee we encountered left a friendly impression. Everyone was attentive, polite, and always concerned about our well-being. There was absolutely no sign of the loud arguments or unfriendly behavior of the chef mentioned in some reviews during our visit.
Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the service. Our pizzas were consistently disappointing. They were either bland, over-salted, or the dough was so hard that you could barely cut through it with a knife. Even the coffee, which we were actually looking forward to, was unfortunately unbearably bitter.
The restaurant may be fine for a quick snack. However, anyone hoping for authentic Italian cuisine probably won't be happy here. The price is still reasonable, but unfortunately not entirely justified given the quality of the food.
A final note for anyone wondering about a supposedly incorrect bill: Coperto, a small flat rate for cover charge and bread, is perfectly normal in Italy and is usually clearly stated on the menu. This was also the case here.
TLDR: The restaurant is okay, nothing amazing, but if you need to get out of the heat and eat they have food. Wouldn't recommend over tons of other places I've visited throughout Italy
Hot day at the Duomo and need to cool off? The restaurant conveniently advertises they have AC as the catch that drew us in. We were told we have to order food to sit inside, which is fine. The atmosphere is trying to be upscale with white table cloths and post order plating, but is undermined by the menu and food itself. The food was curiously priced, pasta being the most expensive and the portion size leads to something to be desired for the price.
Just order pizza.
Finally the staff wouldn't split the bill and outright told us no. They weren't busy and I've never had any restaurant refuse split payments.

We had lunch on a Saturday without a reservation. I ordered a long pasta dish with wild boar sauce that was delicious, and some grilled vegetables that I didn't like at all. I found them dry and tough. I drank water, and the price was 32.50 euros.

The table we were given was wobbling. The staff was ok. You could eat the spaghetti carbonara, but it wasn't well made because the egg separated from the fat and the portion was too small for €14. Pizza was good! Salad too. Would I come again? Clearly NO!

I ordered fish soup but it’s actually shrimp and hard shells soup… Didn’t really enjoy it..
Torneremo a trovarvi.
