We chose the "Due Spade" restaurant in Cernusco sul Naviglio for our wedding lunch and we couldn't have made a better choice. The location, an old spinning mill that perfectly combines history and modernity, won everyone over with its welcoming atmosphere and the environment cared for in every detail. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Marzia, who accompanied us with great professionalism throughout the organization: from the choice of the menu to the setting of the tables, she was able to interpret and satisfy our every need, with attention and availability. The service was impeccable and the staff was friendly and prepared. Even the guests with special dietary needs were handled with care, and everyone was enthusiastic.

Returning to the Due Spade restaurant is always a pleasure. We went for lunch on Sunday 4 May 2025. We have known him since he was in the Melzo office and he has never disappointed our expectations. Even though we don't manage to go there frequently, the welcome is always friendly and affectionate; it is "our" restaurant for the important events of our lives. This time too, quality and professionalism were not lacking, on the contrary, we pleasantly noticed a progressive growth in Lorenzo's cuisine compared to the last few times, a truly promising chef despite his young age. ON this occasion we chose the "Fish & Bubbles" menu: after the chef's entree (a "cloud" with Cassoeula mousse), we continued with an excellent swordfish Tataki with daikon and beetroot mouse, a carrot cream with squid, fennel and red onion and crunchy Venere rice (perhaps a little too crunchy), a fantastic red tuna fillet with smoked aubergines and seaweed, really tender and tasty, and spaghetti black garlic with spectacular red prawn tartare (perfect pasta cooking). To finish, a soft cocoa dessert with black cherry mousse and chocolate sorbet, also really good. For all the dishes we appreciated the choice of combining ingredients with different consistencies, creating beautiful contrasts on the palate. Everything was accompanied by a bottle of Berlucchi Franciacorta vintage 2019 Cuvèe des JRE nr.7, a truly balanced and elegant limited edition extra brut, created in collaboration with the young JRE restaurateurs including Lorenzo Di Bari who is part of it. What can I say... it's not a cheap restaurant, but the excellent quality, competence and professionalism of the guys in the dining room and in the kitchen justify the price spent. A particular note goes to the breadsticks and bread served, homemade and very good, as well as the caramelized almonds offered with the coffee. We hope to have another opportunity to return soon. Absolutely recommended.

Heartfelt restaurant, excellent starter (Swordfish Tataki) and superb first course (Linguine with Asiago, shrimp cream and trout roe). Service performed with care and passion. Ideal location for business lunches and small events. Highly recommended.

For lunch on Sunday, we celebrated the birthday of a newly 28-year-old who loves wine and good food. The welcome was warm, with young, courteous and professional staff, without appearing excessively formal. The location, an old spinning mill, is truly particular and well-kept. I recommend a trip to the bathroom, it's worth the visit! The menu is varied and seasonal, decided by the chef. We ordered: Raw fish: very fresh and light. Linguine with red prawn cream: excellent according to the birthday girl (unfortunately I couldn't taste them). Tagliolini with rabbit ragout: very good. The thing that caught the eye of most of the group was the quail cutlet, original to say the least. The fried breading is a crunchy and not at all greasy delight, very simple to enjoy thanks to the perfect deboning, if not for the small bone that allows for the final crunch. I thank the hard work of the chef who knows well the challenges of game lovers. The only flaw in the dish: the chicory was a little too strong for my tastes, I would have preferred just the side potatoes. For dessert, we tried ice cream, tiramisu and cannoncini, all delicious, but the cannoncini were the best in my opinion. To drink, a bottle of rosé, but the wine list offers a vast choice for the more experienced. Service times are a little delayed, but adequate for a gourmet restaurant, well managed by the fantastic breadsticks! Truly an excellent experience to repeat. More than recommended!

I had lunch today at Due Spade with four people for my daughter's birthday. I had already been there other times, but if possible I found an even more beautiful environment with new and elegant bathrooms and exquisite food to say the least (with a menu that also changes frequently). The young chef Lorenzo ranges between different dishes with the mastery of an expert chef, ready to satisfy the tastes and palate of each guest. Personally, I had asked for a gluten-free risotto and fruit tart, delicious, delicious and delicate at the same time. But each course was greatly appreciated by each of the diners. The service, coordinated by the magnificent presence of Marzia, professional and at the same time warm and friendly, does not look out of place at all compared to famous, super renowned restaurants. I have traveled around a lot, especially for work in high and very high level restaurants, and I can state with good reason that Due Spade is the one that guarantees the best quality/price ratio. A place to definitely return.

Very kind and attentive staff. Peaceful atmosphere both outside and inside. Good food and well presented. Creative recipes without being too sophisticated (in a bad way). Good value for money. I'll be happy to come back.

Reconversión de una zona industrial en un restaurante encantador y acogedor. El servicio fue impecable y realizado por personas amables y muy conocedoras tanto de los vinos como de los platos servidos. Los platos servidos eran exquisitos y con variaciones "exóticas" sobre clásicos de la tradición italiana (como la quinua tostada sobre crema de ajo negro). Las porciones, obviamente, de un restaurante gourmet, por lo tanto suficientes para apreciar la maestría del chef pero no suficientes para llenar la saciedad que implica que se debe probar más de un plato. Caro, pero definitivamente se recomienda si desea una experiencia culinaria digna de mención.

11/05/2025: Incredulous at finding such a genuine place in Milan, I enjoyed a series of dishes (I was particularly hungry after a long day) carefully prepared by the owner. This family-run restaurant offers expertly cooked meat from Abruzzo. Not without difficulty I can say that the main dish is the kebabs, but the offer is so wide that it is really difficult to draw up a rating of satisfaction. Honest prices.
