A very beautiful restaurant, with a charming location in the center of Cernusco sul Naviglio. The food is truly exceptional: the use and enhancement of the ingredients are meticulously crafted and refined, and the dishes are truly delicious! I had the octopus stew and the spaghetti with black garlic and shrimp tartare, both truly delicate and delicious.

A truly superb experience, with fantastic staff overall and extremely high-quality and sophisticated dishes. This time I tried the recommended fish menu and it was a delightful discovery with every course. Highly recommended, both for special events and for a quality lunch/dinner. The interior is delightful, elegant, airy, and comfortable, with warm tones and a woody scent. The staff is attentive, kind, and friendly. The food is decent, the chef's welcome is excellent, and the ingredients are good, but not always balanced in flavor (e.g., delicate fish overpowered by too much cheese, some dishes too salty, desserts with room for improvement). You can sense the chef's dedication and dedication, demonstrating a desire to excel. The wines are excellent.

We had dinner as a couple, booking through the convenient website. Two "fish and bubbles" tasting menus The setting is very refined and at the same time retains the charm of its history. The menu we tried was an explosion of flavors with every bite. High-quality ingredients artfully blended with non-local ingredients like Japanese seaweed. From the welcome from the very young chef Lorenzo to the dessert. Great professionalism also in the dining room, where the service is attentive, precise, and punctual. Despite the language barrier, the owner speaks a little French. Refined and delicious dishes. And this is from a French meat lover. 😅 I recommend it from start to finish.

Since 1990 and for over 30 years, first in Melzo and then in Cernusco, it was the favorite restaurant for me, my family, and all the friends I introduced it to. The Di Bari brothers Christian, Daniele, and Zippo were a truly formidable trio. Now Christian is no longer with us, Zippo got tired, Daniele preferred to move to work in an excellent meat restaurant in the Linate area. Only the name of Vecchio Due Spade remains. Lorenzo does his best in the kitchen, but a little more humility and awareness of still being far from the levels of his father Christian could only do him and the restaurant good. It is better to draw a veil of silence about the atmosphere and service in the dining room. Too bad. All good things come to an end sooner or later, Due Spade could not have been eternal.

Locale curato in una zona tranquilla di Cernusco sul Naviglio. Menú molto interessante con chiari richiami alla cucina tradizionale modernizzata con gusto e ben eseguita. Ottimo servizio. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Decisamente una delle migliori scelte nella zona.

Tornare al ristorante Due Spade è sempre un piacere. Siamo stati a pranzo domenica 04 maggio 2025. Lo conosciamo fin da quando era nella sede di Melzo e non ha mai deluso le nostre aspettative. Nonostante non riusciamo ad andarci di frequente, l'accoglienza è sempre cordiale e affettuosa; è il "nostro" ristorante per gli eventi importanti della nostra vita. Anche questa volta la qualità e la professionalità non sono mancati, anzi, abbiamo piacevolmente riscontrato una crescita progressiva nella cucina di Lorenzo rispetto alle ultime volte, uno chef davvero promettente nonostante la sua giovane età. In questa occasione abbiamo scelto il menu "Pesce & Bollicine": dopo l'entratina dello chef (una "nuvola" con mousse di Cassoeula), abbiamo proseguito con un ottimo Tataki di pesce spada con daikon e mouse di barbabietola, una crema di carote con calamaro, finocchio e cipolla rossa e del riso venere croccante (forse un po' troppo croccante), un fantastico filetto di tonno rosso con melanzane affumicate e alghe davvero tenero e saporito, e spaghetti all'aglio nero con tartare di gambero rosso spettacolare (cottura della pasta perfetta). Per finire un dolce morbido al cacao con mousse all'amarena e sorbetto al cioccolato, anche questo veramente buono. Per tutte le pietanze abbiamo apprezzato la scelta di abbinare ingredienti con diverse consistenze, creando dei bei contrasti al palato. Il tutto è stato accompagnato da una bottiglia di Berlucchi Franciacorta millesimato 2019 Cuvèe des JRE nr.7, una edizione limitata extra brut davvero equilibrato ed elegante, creato in collaborazione con i giovani ristoratori JRE tra i quali Lorenzo Di Bari che ne fa parte. Che dire ... non è un ristorante economico, ma l'ottima qualità, la competenza e la professionalità dei ragazzi in sala e in cucina giustificano il prezzo speso. Una nota particolare va ai grissini e al pane servito, fatto in casa e molto buono, come pure le mandorle caramellate offerte insieme al caffè. Infine abbiamo molto apprezzato che, alla fine del servizio, lo chef Lorenzo sia venuto in sala a salutare e scambiare due parole con le persone ai tavoli, che ci ha consentito di complimentarci con lui. Speriamo di avere presto una nuova occasione per tornare. Assolutamente consigliato.
