Excellent food, but service really too slow.

Due Spade is always a sure thing. Its refined and meticulously maintained location and professional yet very friendly service make you feel at home. Chef Lorenzo offers refined cuisine, with surprising and interesting pairings, in generous portions. The wine list is excellent, as is the complimentary petit patisserie at the end. The quality/price ratio is excellent. Perfect for a business lunch, a family dinner, or a romantic date. Highly recommended.

We've been going there forever...it's still our favorite restaurant. The dishes are carefully prepared and the ingredients are top-quality, the atmosphere is elegant and intimate, and the young, friendly, and knowledgeable staff are knowledgeable. We highly recommend it.

Highly recommended restaurant just outside Milan. A unique location, converted from an old brickworks, friendly and professional staff, excellent traditional dishes with a touch of creativity, a very good wine list, and excellent value. I don't know what else to expect... Must try.

A wonderful experience, excellent food, an elegant and refined restaurant, and above all, excellent gin and tonics. The owner, a gin enthusiast, gave me a unique and special experience; not every restaurant offers such a wide selection of gin. I'll definitely be back :)

A very beautiful restaurant, with a charming location in the center of Cernusco sul Naviglio. The food is truly exceptional: the use and enhancement of the ingredients are meticulously crafted and refined, and the dishes are truly delicious! I had the octopus stew and the spaghetti with black garlic and shrimp tartare, both truly delicate and delicious.

A truly superb experience, with fantastic staff overall and extremely high-quality and sophisticated dishes. This time I tried the recommended fish menu and it was a delightful discovery with every course. Highly recommended, both for special events and for a quality lunch/dinner. Since 1990 and for over 30 years, first in Melzo and then in Cernusco, it was the favorite restaurant for me, my family, and all the friends I introduced it to. The Di Bari brothers Christian, Daniele, and Zippo were a truly formidable trio. Now Christian is no longer with us, Zippo got tired, Daniele preferred to move to work in an excellent meat restaurant in the Linate area. Only the name of Vecchio Due Spade remains. Lorenzo does his best in the kitchen, but a little more humility and awareness of still being far from the levels of his father Christian could only do him and the restaurant good. It is better to draw a veil of silence about the atmosphere and service in the dining room. Too bad. All good things come to an end sooner or later, Due Spade could not have been eternal.
