The change in management is evident. Excellent fish and meat dishes, along with desserts and wines. Perfect service, and the bill is reasonable.

31/03/2026: I tried a lot of recommended restaurants in Rome, but 44 Osteria Quarantaquattro was by far my favorite. Hands down the best pasta I had in Rome. The owner was wonderful, the vibe was amazing, and you could really feel the care and passion behind everything. The pasta and every dish we had were unique, flavorful, and anything but generic. It felt like a real experience, not just another dinner. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
