Me and my husband had the pleasure of enjoying a dinner here. It was for both of us the first time in a starred restaurant ⭐️ I was a bit anxious as I didn’t know what to expect, however the experience was fabulous. We have been welcomed warmly and before sitting to our table we have been shown the wines cellars, which was absolutely incredible 🍷 We opted for the tasting menu parried with the wines. Evert single course was an experience, an incredible journey into food and wine, flavour you would not even imagine to taste: excellent! The service was spot on, to the top standards but still with a warm approach ❤️ Last but not least: Mr. Mario and his wife, walking around the tables to welcome their guests and making sure they truly feel welcome, almost like a family 🥹 Thanks to everyone who has been around us and to everyone working behind the scenes creating such beautiful memories in people. If I would ever get the chance I would definitely go back and I can only recommend the place. Thank you for the memories you have created!

Every stay at Don Alfonso 1890 is a memorable experience. The Iaccarino family is simply wonderful: welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and with a rare warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. Completing this magic is the impeccable staff, always smiling, attentive to every detail, and capable of transforming every moment into a special memory. The food is an extraordinary journey through flavors, a perfect balance between tradition and creativity. Returning here every year is always an immense pleasure, and as soon as our stay ends, we're already counting down the days until the next one: we can't wait to rediscover this unique atmosphere, made of hospitality, professionalism, and genuine passion. A place that is more than just a restaurant or hotel, but a true home for the soul.

This was our 3rd visit and we stayed for 3 nights. It is a place where you feel like a guest and like family at the same time. The service and the food is wonderful and on top of that the owners and their staff really make you feel welcome and are all very charming and helpful. I recommend ( even those who do not drink ) to really not miss the opportunity to see the wine cellar. Will be back again for sure.

We'd been wanting to visit this restaurant for a long time, and now (during a Nick Cave concert in Pompeii) the time had finally come. And our long-held expectations were not disappointed at all; in fact, they were far exceeded! From the very friendly and helpful welcome (parking space) to the small touches surrounding the aperitif, the cellar tour, and the almost unbeatable menu, this was a (very extensive and comprehensive) lunch experience of the very best! The Iaccarino family is there for their guests with heart and soul, and every fiber of their being; together with the well-kept garden, you truly feel like you're in a little paradise. And even if you can't take full advantage of the sensational wine cellar as a driver, the wine selection by the glass leaves nothing to be desired to accompany the magnificent menu – even a 1989 Bordeaux, if you like...

Enchanting place, cared for and managed by the wisdom of the Iaccarino family. The cuisine has a refined harmony of Mediterranean flavors combined with the aesthetic and brilliant taste of chef Ernesto, a master worthy of the legacy of Don Alfonso. The hall and the gardens, as well as the rooms that host the lucky customers are a wonderful synthesis of taste and elegance that Mrs. Iaccarino has been able to create. Mario is perfect, a splendid host who is able to accompany, with style and confidentiality, his guests, until they feel like friends.
