My stay at the hotel was a wonderful experience. The staff were very welcoming and provided excellent service. Their hospitality and attention to guests were truly impressive. The place was very clean and of high quality, and the food was delicious and varied. I would like to thank the hotel management and all the staff for their outstanding service.

An exceptional stay at the Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso 1890: a journey of the senses and the soul Last weekend, I had the honor and pleasure of attending a refined event organized by Giuliana Di Venti Hospitality Experience at the Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso 1890, a gem nestled in the heart of Sant’Agata sui Due Golfi. It was an experience I can confidently call memorable, thanks to the extraordinary synergy between hospitality, a culture of hospitality, and profound humanity. We were a group of twelve, and from the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a rare grace and care. We had the privilege of meeting the Iaccarino family, true custodians of an art of hospitality passed down from generation to generation. Don Alfonso, Livia, Mario, and Ernesto are the embodiment of timeless elegance, born of passion, dedication, and sincere attention to their guests. Every gesture, every word, every smile conveyed the warmth of a noble home, where the guest is never a client, but a person. I would like to extend a special thanks to Fortunato, Silvia, and Giusy, the cornerstones of the reception and customer service, always present with discretion, professionalism, and courtesy. In particular, Fortunato proved to be a valuable guide on the tour of the Le Peracciole farm in Punta Campanella: a place where the values ​​of Don Alfonso take concrete form, through an absolute dedication to organic farming, respect for the environment, recycling, and the pursuit of a minimal yet significant ecological impact. A virtuous example of authentic sustainability. The culinary experience was, as expected, absolutely extraordinary. Each dish, a narrative; each flavor, a discovery. The quality of the raw materials, the attention to presentation, the expertly balanced pairings, the gastronomic narrative that accompanies each course: everything contributes to creating a sensory journey that remains etched in the memory. To round out the experience, a visit to the historic winery opened the doors to a world of winemaking excellence, while the display of Don Alfonso products proved a treasure trove of inspiration for useful and refined gifts, ideal for the holiday season. In conclusion, the Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso 1890 is more than just a place to stay or dine, but a temple of authentic Mediterranean hospitality, where luxury manifests itself in the quality of human relationships, local culture, and elegant gestures. A gem, excellent welcome and a very pleasant experience.

The hotel is amazing in every sense of the word. The room is comfortable and elegant. The owner of the hotel is very elegant and welcomes you as if you were entering her home. She takes care of her guests and meets them. It is important to her that you are comfortable in the accommodation. The food is another story: taste, presentation, and elegance. On top of that, all the food is from their own farms and organic. The room has a welcoming suite that is elegantly and tidy. The atmosphere of the hotel is wonderful and relaxing.

Recent retirement and a wish to treat myself to a memorable vacation, along with a friend's recommendation with rave reviews, brought my sister and I to the Boutique Hotel Don Alfonso. An absolutely beautiful destination in every way: hospitality, service, food and location. Mario and Ernesto Iaccarino, along with their mother Livia, are involved in the entirety of all they offer, bringing you and their staff immediately together as part of their family. It is a journey in the Mediterranean lifestyle as Mario says, in behavior and culinary. The hours long struggle at the airport previous to our arrival evaporated as soon as we were welcomed and whisked away to a covered outdoor area in lush greenery with lemon and laurel trees and urns of dipladenia, the latter being the only commonality to my home. Each dining experience whether breakfast, lunch within the culinary class, or dinner was a gastronomic event. Rarely have we enjoyed the staff as much as the delicious meals on each of these occasions. My cooking class with Chef Nicolo Pignatelli was exceptional in scope of menu and dining, he is kind and generous with his teaching and attention to the preparation, execution and service. As someone who has cooked at home and as a caterer for 50 years it was also enchanting that the only things I had to wash were my hands! The tiny town of Sant Agata is a stone's throw from the Amalfi coast and Sorrento, we enjoyed visiting the surrounding sites but the Hotel Don Alfonso was home, we truly hated to leave for an extended period of time! Hopefully, we will be able to visit again! Stateside they have a restaurant in St. Louis at the Ritz Carlton that may have to hold us over until another European adventure.

Everything is absolutely perfect: the rooms, the breakfast, the restaurant, the welcome, the setting... Everything! Bravo!

Me and my husband had the pleasure of enjoying a dinner here. It was for both of us the first time in a starred restaurant ⭐️ I was a bit anxious as I didn’t know what to expect, however the experience was fabulous. We have been welcomed warmly and before sitting to our table we have been shown the wines cellars, which was absolutely incredible 🍷 We opted for the tasting menu parried with the wines. Evert single course was an experience, an incredible journey into food and wine, flavour you would not even imagine to taste: excellent! The service was spot on, to the top standards but still with a warm approach ❤️ Last but not least: Mr. Mario and his wife, walking around the tables to welcome their guests and making sure they truly feel welcome, almost like a family 🥹 Thanks to everyone who has been around us and to everyone working behind the scenes creating such beautiful memories in people. If I would ever get the chance I would definitely go back and I can only recommend the place. Thank you for the memories you have created!

Don Alfonso should be given 4 stars... you go and you don't want to leave anymore
