Ristorante dell'Hotel Bernina In Tirano

It would be unfair to rate this hotel only three stars just because it’s officially a three-star hotel — it truly serves its purpose perfectly. It’s located right next to the train station and the Bernina Express, which was exactly the reason we stayed here. All in all, a five-star experience in my opinion for doing exactly what it’s meant to do.

Spartan room but with all the services including satellite, excellent restaurant

The rooms are small but nice. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel is located across from the train station, right on the market square with plenty of dining options. Breakfast was good.

Its a very clean and cozy hotel across the square from the Tirano station. Restaurant was also quite satisfactory. Lot of other food options right out of the door. Will recommend

Excellent location next to the Bernina Express Hotel station. The room had 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. A bit warm.

Location of this hotel is excellent especially as we were catching an early morning Bernina Express train, it's a couple minute walk opposite the station. However, the room for 3 of us was tiny, dated and had 1 fan and the room was boiling hot. Staff were not that friendly in my opinion. Breakfast was good although again staff not that pleasant.

On an outing with the Rapperswil-Jona Senior Citizens' Club, I stopped at Ristorante Saint-Jane. Excellent food, fast service, and reasonable prices.

It's great if you take the Bernina Express! It's right in front of the station, and the surrounding area is lovely for walking and seeing the city. Super well-located, very clean, and the staff is very attentive! The breakfast is impeccable!

As a family of 4, with two young kids, who were travelling since 4am I cannot recommend this hotel enough. It’s in very close proximity to the train station and sits on the town square. The hotel was clean and modern and the beds comfortable. The restaurant looked great but we decided to head into town for a pizza, breakfast was delish which food variety to keep the kids happy and parents full. We had a family room, double bed and bunk bed. It was very comfortable with crisp clean bedsheets and airy with the windows open. Our stopover here was relaxed and super convenient for connections, highly recommended. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Thanks :)

A great hotel, perfect location opposite the train stations.
