My heart's refuge. Beautifully managed restaurant, food that's excellent is an understatement. A gem overlooking Lake Mortirolo. A spectacular experience in every way. Highly recommended.

We returned to this wonderful refuge again this year. The place is beautiful, but above all, the welcome is special, and the dishes are delicious and carefully prepared. Even a sandwich is a tasty experience. We regretfully say goodbye to the current managers, but we wish them a good life and, at least for a while, a good rest! Your loyal customers in Forlì, Claudia and Giovanni!

We have had a house in Vezza for six years and 2/3 visits to the Mortirolo refuge were never missing, beautiful welcome that made you feel in a "friendly" place. The cuisine simply excellent in quality, abundance and presentation, every dish was photographed. Unfortunately I used the past tense, the managers are leaving the management of the refuge. I wish them a good life. Thank you...... surely whatever they do they will do it well and with passion as they have always done at the Mortirolo refuge.

Truly a wonderful place! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the portions were generous, and the food was delicious! The desserts were delicious. After a long walk, it's just what you need to refuel!

08/10/2025: I usually go there on Saturdays if I'm downtown. The owner is very kind, and in the summer there are outdoor tables. I go there mostly for the blended coffee and in the winter for the mulled wine, which is delicious 😋. My husband usually gets the herbal teas and blended coffee.

16/11/2025: We happened upon it by chance on a Sunday in November for lunch and had a wonderful meal. We appreciated the young, polite, and attentive waiters. The food was typical trattoria fare, beautifully presented and delicious. Highly recommended.
10/11/2025: I had dinner for the first time, a flatbread pizza. The tomato sauce was almost nonexistent on the thin layer of dough; I think it was spread by hand, not with a spoon or ladle. I doubt the mozzarella is mozzarella, but it's definitely stretched curd, probably cut and packaged. On a positive note, the dough was well-made for the type of dough proposed, although in my experience it could have a few sagging edges when rolled out. I hope this review is constructive criticism.
