Excellent cuisine in the splendid setting of Portovenere. It was a very pleasant surprise: dishes cooked with all the passion possible, thanks to the good food that stands out for its precision and authenticity. From appetizers to desserts, including fried food. The stuffed mussels, a local specialty, were so good that we returned a second time before leaving. Highly recommended. Sincere compliments to Mr. Massimiliano.

I tried this restaurant based on Google ratings and I am glad I did. I arrived at opening at noon, but soon after, the place was filled with two large tour groups, and I began to be doubtful about the quality of the restaurant, because those that typically host tour groups tend to be better for quantity, rather than quality. Being allergic to shellfish, I ordered the pansotti (a triangular ravioli), stuffed with spinach and ricotta topped with a walnut sauce, which turned out to be very flavourful and a delight to eat. It was served on a plate that looked like a mussel shell! I also ordered battered fried vegetables as a side, and it was the best fried vegetables I had in the Cinque Terre, and rivals vegetable tempura in Japan. The service was functional, which was to be expected, with large groups to handle, but always polite. I would recommend this restaurant for its flavourful and reasonably-priced food, as well as its setting along a quieter stretch of the waterfront.

Magnificent restaurant. Both for the location and the food. Recommended by Lonely Planet for seafood. The gentleman serving us was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it! (Very good fried food.)

Possibly the most viable option in town. Ok food and ok prices. Considering the competition.
