The campsite itself is laid out like a palm garden on terraces, the sanitary facilities could use a renovation and unfortunately the winter storms of 25/26 have severely damaged the beach.

Nice campsite with fresh bread every morning and a mini-market. Clean showers. Unfortunately, there were a lot of mosquitoes during our stay in early November. Beautiful beach right next to the campsite.

We stayed one night in October, and overall it was okay. Surrounded by beautiful greenery, the bathrooms are fairly new and generally clean. Bread and croissants are available in the morning upon reservation. With a membership card, we paid €23 plus tax. Not bad.

Camping Sabbiadoro in Gallona Avola is a beautiful campsite right by the sea. The gentleman at reception was very friendly, and the sanitary facilities are excellent; I think they were recently renovated. The toilets even have seats and lids! A real rarity here in Sicily. We had no trouble reaching the campsite with our 599 campervan, even though the road is a bit narrow. There are ACSI pitches for €25 or pitches in the front area (terraces) with sea views for €5 more – absolutely stunning. We can highly recommend this campsite and are surprised that it's not so busy.

A beautifully landscaped campsite with beautiful trees and shrubs that are meticulously maintained. The sanitary facilities look very luxurious, but some repairs/maintenance are needed here and there. There's a lovely beach, which looked a bit messy this October. Two large plastic containers were left near the entrance, and there were decaying plywood sheets on the beach. If they were cleaned up, it would greatly improve the overall experience. It was a good base for visiting Syracuse (a great city, and although touristy, it has a nice "spirit") and Noto (beautiful but with less "spirit").

A shady, peaceful, and cozy campsite 🏕️. The entrance is quite winding and narrow, so large trailers or campers may have trouble getting in. Fresh bread 🍞 and croissants are available daily in the shop. Opening in October. Price for a campervan (2 people) is €25, plus one-time electricity bill of €6 per stay.

Small, natural campsite with great fauna.

The site is very good. The access is narrow, but manageable even with a 7.40-meter car and a trailer. We visited the surrounding towns by scooter. Avola wasn't our type of town. The beach at the site was okay.
