I was very conflicted before going there, following the very conflicting reviews. Very well-kept campsite surrounded by greenery and kept very clean (every morning they clean the pitches by raking every single fallen leaf). Very quiet environment with scents of the plants surrounding the pitches to give you a nice awakening in the morning, well shaded and with drinking water. New toilets, clean and divided by type: very large unisex coin-operated showers for hot water, women's sink department, women's toilet department, men's toilet department, men's sink department. Small market and pizzeria (closed in 2024 due to staff shortages according to the owner). Very serious owner (perhaps excessively fussy) but not vulgar or disrespectful as we read in some reviews and this has its pros and cons in relation to the interlocutor.. For direct access to the beach, at a difference in altitude compared to the structure, there are stairs or a short sloping road (about 50 metres). Price appropriate for the structure. The only small concern is the short road that connects from the main road to the structure, very narrow especially if you meet another vehicle since there is not enough space for both to pass, but there can be no solution to this. Inhabited center not reachable on foot safely but with additional means of transport (bike etc.)

After two nights spent at this campsite, we can say that we are delighted with our stopover. The green spaces are very well maintained and the setting is really pleasant. The toilets are clean. It is true that the shower is cold but in hot weather, this is not really a problem. For the sum of 0.50 cents, you can have hot water and that is enough for a shower. The beach is a two-minute walk away and there are small beach restaurants there (Coco Beach is very good!). The owner is very friendly and is available when needed.

Magnificent campsite with terraces overlooking the sea and very kind staff. The pitches are well maintained and raked every morning, the bathrooms clean with free cold showers available. We stayed for two nights in a tent with a magnificent location overlooking the sea which guaranteed coolness and shade. Also keeping us company are sweet, curious and affectionate kittens. This year there was no restaurant service, but the bar and the reservation of bread and croissants for the morning were guaranteed. In any case, the excellent position guaranteed that you could reach refreshments very quickly and also supermarkets. Excellent location also for visiting beautiful beaches and enchanting centers such as Noto, Avola or Ortigia a little further away. A place that will remain in the heart and a fixed stop for future trips to Sicily.

We left the Sabbiadoro campsite in Avola today. Clean campsite with well-defined pitches and surrounded by greenery. It is 20 meters away. from the sea, very beautiful place for those who love tranquility. Very polite and helpful managers... even if there is no market or bar/restaurant, certainly not the fault of the managers but of the lack of staff, the place really deserves a stop. Payment also with POS and receipt issued. Highly recommended!!!

03.07.2024. Beautiful campsite by the sea, large pitches with electricity columns, well organized and everything is always clean. Abundant shade. In an elevated position compared to the sea it is also well ventilated. The toilets are good and very clean, the only flaw is that the cold showers are open, so you can't undress to wash your private parts, and even worse the hot showers, which are closed, have an external coin mechanism, so if you get soapy, it's up to you to decide ... Huge flaw, painful, and for this reason the general rating is 3 stars and no more, there is nothing, no market, no restaurant, nothing at all... You can get there via a very narrow road and it's fine .. patience... But once inside you are like in prison. Arrive with a functioning refrigerator and well full of food because once inside you can only order croissants and baguettes... For the rest, peace, silence and tranquility are guaranteed.

I love spending my holidays constantly moving from one campsite to another on all the Italian coasts. I spent 3 nights alone in a tent at this campsite starting from June 27, 2024. I've been there before and nothing has changed. It has only aged and, very importantly, has closed the bar, restaurant and market due to lack of staff. Not large, terraced up to the beach, large pitches shaded by trees, hard ground, especially for planting pegs, and dusty. Cars in common parking a few meters above but inside the campsite. Not new but reasonably maintained. Beautiful sandy beach, cleaned regularly, transparent and slowly sloping sea. Toilet facilities are not new and are well maintained and clean. Hot showers with the great hassle of 10,20,50 cent coins (minimum cost 50). The taps are of different types, normal ones for the feet, timed buttons for the showers, dishes and clothes, electric sensor ones (even more inconvenient than the timed ones) type autogrill for the sinks which in the evening are illuminated by night lights until you don't discover a time switch next to the nearby electrical outlet. On the beach there are two bars with umbrellas and sunbeds. There is a pizza restaurant less than a kilometer away but nothing else without taking the car also because there is no cycle path and the state road is very dangerous because it is busy and not lit. Courteous staff, during the few times they are available. Few flies and ants, no wasps but some mosquitoes. In conclusion, I recommend this campsite to those who want to enjoy the beach, sea, tranquility and take independent trips to places not far away such as the splendid Syracuse. I give 3 stars also for the excessive lack of services, inside and out, such as bar, restaurant, market, etc. and also because I only pay in cash with a receipt issued only because I came back to ask for it. He says that the POS wasn't working and he missed the receipt because he was busy with other things.

Very nice park-like campsite, lots of exotic plants, the driveway is narrow but easy to drive, with Acsi €23 included. 4 kw electricity, showers 1€, the sanitary facility is new, no hot water for washing up, the place has beach access, nice bike rides to Noto, Syracuse, Cava Grande from Cassibile, wanted to stay 3 nights, stayed 7N. The place is open all year round open, the place is highly recommended in the off season. Unfortunately, card payment was not possible and there was no official invoice

Perfect campsite, one of the most beautiful in Sicily. Owner is very nice, if spoken to correctly. Beach great staff very hard working. A little further out of the way, but as a camper you are flexible. Which probably doesn't apply to the people with negative reviews here...

Very nice campsite and a very nice boss but the hygiene of the toilets and showers!?! It is only a few meters to the beach and there is also a bread delivery service.

Very nice facility. But far from the cities of Noto, Avola and Siracusa. Sanitary and camping super clean and well maintained. Great reception. Very good and recommended for relaxing between city tours. Very nice beach. But access is very narrow with very tight curves. Still 5 stars from us.
