The owners here are seriously so kind and attentive! The food is fantastic...the freshness of the nettle pasta is amazing and I have never had meat so tender. We've already been twice and will be going again!

We went to this quaint place for breakfast. We were literally captivated by Andrea and his stories, his mother's special desserts and the home-made cantucci. We will definitely return in good weather to experience lunch. Great discovery

I can't say enough good things about it, we ended up here by chance, the restaurant is located in the center of Monte San Martino, a very beautiful village. Spacious and bright rooms, carefully furnished, perhaps a little dated in style but service and food are of the highest level. The restaurant is family-run, the lady is in the kitchen and in the dining room there are father and son, with a kindness and professionalism that is now rare. As an appetizer we took the Ascoli olives, you could clearly see that they were handmade, very good, then we took the Campofilone maccheroncini in two variations, generous portions and delicious. Spinach side dish, not the frozen kind but very fresh. To finish, trifle which reminded me of the ones my aunt and grandmother made, plentiful, we ate it between two, excellent. Two glasses of wine and we were offered sweet wine with dessert. Total bill 66 euros, 33 euros each, everything was there! In conclusion I would recommend it, I will definitely return.

If it had been a trattoria the evaluation would certainly have been different but from a restaurant like that with that name and above all those prices you expect the best. On Sunday, despite having booked and like us, many other people told us that the grill had not been turned on so we could only choose between two second courses, baked lamb and roast beef fillet; the cappelletti in broth were not available because you had to reserve them. The maccheroncini with porcini mushrooms with a few mushrooms (5/6 slices) without flavor with a whitish sauce probably cream, I asked for parmesan so I managed to eat two forkfuls of (macaroni in white). 3 small pieces of lamb at a cost of 23 euros. Then when they brought us the desserts, a tiramisu and a trifle, we looked at each other because we didn't know which was which and which was which; a cocoa biscuit with sweetened cream sprinkled with cocoa on top and pavesini with a pouring of cocoa cream on the other, not bad, but far from what we asked for. There were 4 of us, we took 2 complete menus plus 2 second courses, 1 common bottle of wine and we spent 228 euros

When I'm passing through returning from a tour in the mountains and I want to "feel" the taste of food again, this is where I come. The hosts welcome you with a cordiality that calms the soul. Andrea ci ha costantemente supportato nelle scelte con grande raffinatezza e garbo, servizio veramente notevole al top. Cucina impeccabile sapori di una volta . Veramente notevole. Atmosfera di una volta serena e senza tempo. Da assaporare lentamente e con grande gusto perché ne vale veramente la pena. Sono posti unici e irripetibili
