I had heard about this place from friends...
Framed in an enchanting village, to say the least, between greenery and ancient atmospheres, this restaurant will disarm you with the hospitality and professionalism of the owners..
Great food with wonderfully flavorful toppings..
behind it there is professionalism not gained behind a screen.. the wisdom of the chef Angelica can be felt in every portion of food..
What wins hands down is the approach that the hosts have... simple and genuine like the cuisine...
Very honest prices..
I recommend the nettle fettuccine...

A wonderful family-run business immersed in the beautiful village of the Marche region. Before entering I recommend an aperitif at the bar above, also owned by the family, after which at the restaurant you will be welcomed by the kindness of Andrea, the generosity of the father and the magic of the hands of the mother Angelica, an excellent cook. A special way to discover a precious corner of Italy

An impeccable restaurant, here you can find simplicity and refinement, two extremes that contain tradition, imagination and attention to detail. Simply put: you eat very well!

I had heard very good things about it... well it's all true: carefully prepared dishes with the traditional flavors of a lost time served with kindness. The range of wines is decent, the desserts are good, the location is welcoming although not particularly rustic. Absolutely worth trying!

Incredible lunch with unparalleled quality. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the spinach was unparalleled for its simplicity. The desserts just kept getting better as we had four different selections (the merang was my favorite). The owner and staff are incredibly warm and kind. Making a reservation is highly recommended as they can get very busy.

This place is all you have ever dreamed of in Italian cuisine. A family-run business on the top of a hill in an ever so enchanting place in the Marche region, Monte S. Martino. It's that typical restaurant, almost empty during the week, bursting in its seams in the weekend and on holidays. In the Marche, "Priori" is famously known as the place to be to celebrate your Sunday lunch with your extended family. It's run by an elderly couple (he (77) serves, she cooks and gives orders to him in a "pittoresque" way, like real mamas in real Italian kitchens should (excuse me for the common place and prejudice)) and their two sons. The food is simple Italian fare, cooked to perfection and made with the most delightful of ingredients. "Mother Cook" is very skilled at combining local herbs and tastes with classical Italian recipes. Her pastas are epic, her meats are splendid and the portions are abundant (you may want to consider sharing). Service is old-fashioned-friendly, like in the good old seventies, when time, spent with your customer, was considered time well spent, not time lost. Of course, the walls are adorned with all possible and impossible celebrities that ate there, including (then) Prince Charles, who is said to have visited Monte S. Martino on several occasions; some say because of friends in the neighbourhood, others say to see the famous paintings of Carlo and Vittorio Crivelli that are kept on display in the village's pinacoteca. The wine list is more than abundant, as is the choice of grappas. Priori is most certainly not the most expensive Italian restaurant but also not the cheapest. Eat here and you will taste why.
