Very nice and well-kept restaurant. I hadn't been there for a few years and I found it changed, the prices have increased excessively for the food it offers and for being in a small town. The table is of dubious taste and instead of a tablecloth it has a light sheet of disposable recycled paper like those used in cheap pizzerias. As an appetizer we took the mixed platter and it was very good. Discreet and easy-drinking red wine. A first course with artichokes was quite good and convincing, but the other first course was a disaster, the pappardelle which, especially here in Tuscany, should have been a triumph of flavours, instead turned out to be totally flavourless, without any hint of wine, without a hint of rosemary, without a hint of garlic and not even the meat had any flavour, it almost seemed frozen. Finished only by starvation and with added cheese to give it at least some flavour. The pappardelle absolutely needs to be improved, just as it is necessary to put a quality white cotton tablecloth on the tables to give value to the restaurant and the environment, with those prices offering at least a classic white restaurant tablecloth of a certain level is the minimum or at least a nice runner. The musical selection, however, is very nice and adapts perfectly to the environment and the romantic dinner. I hope to return in a few months and find it improved, because overall it is a nice place and deserves to be brought to a good level.

Nice restaurant, the food is decent... the pan with the pecorino was good, the lamb had a bad aftertaste and the side dishes seemed to be reheated and not freshly made. Very disappointed

I couldn't find anything better, I was passing through, found it on Google and was very satisfied, confirming the excellent reviews I had read.
Nice typical local restaurant, candlelit dinner but above all excellent menu, the appetizer with local dishes, excellent tomato soup, but above all the pappardelle with wild boar ragù with saffron.
If I ever find myself again I will definitely stop by

I am changing the review once again because compared to the experience I had in 2023, this year (2025) things went very well. The always comfortable environment, created in the lower part of a house with stone vaults. The staff is friendly and the service impeccable. The dishes are carefully prepared, tasty and generous. Worth mentioning are the pappardella with wild boar, excellent, and the tagliatelle with artichokes and bacon. The wine list is very interesting with several gems. The desserts were very good, especially the millefeuille with custard.
