Finally, two friends and I managed to try this restaurant. We had booked the "Giovani Forchette" menu in advance, a five-course menu selected by the chef. We were welcomed at the bar, a choice that made the experience even more engaging thanks to the direct view of the kitchen. Before starting, I chose a cocktail called "Omaggio a Andy Warhol" (Homage to Andy Warhol), made with gin, beetroot juice, and tonic: absolutely delicious. The menu included an entrée, two appetizers, a first course, a second course, and a dessert: every dish was impeccable and meticulously prepared. Personally, I found the pork cheek with green pepper sauce and the mascarpone ice cream with chocolate and Maldon salt to be extraordinary. The location was particularly well-kept and very quiet. One of those places I will definitely return to. A truly fantastic experience. Being a photographer, I pay particular attention to lighting and framing, which is why I've also attached some shots. I would love to collaborate with the restaurant on a photo shoot.

We dined at Canzian Restaurant, choosing the 5-course Giovani Forchette surprise menu. It was an elegant yet down-to-earth Italian haute cuisine experience, which was overall a very positive experience. Let's start with the food: at Canzian, the food is good, period. It's top-notch Italian cuisine. During our meal, we tasted: - egg in chicken broth (amazing broth). - an artichoke stuffed with parmesan on a bed of spinach (super flavorful). - a beetroot risotto with white wine. - a beef cheek with duck ragù on a bed of Jerusalem artichokes. - and finally, a freshly made mascarpone gelato, simply delicious. The quality of the ingredients is evident, the wine list is truly extensive, and the prices are absolutely in line with the city and a restaurant with a clear Michelin reputation, even if it currently lacks a star. The service was undoubtedly a highlight of the evening. The young man who looked after us throughout the dinner was impeccable: kind, extremely polite, friendly, and never intrusive. A balance that made us feel at ease from start to finish. A few minor, less convincing points concern the ambiance: the decor is rather unique, and standing at the counter overlooking the kitchen, you notice some details that perhaps would be better left unnoticed. A few worn utensils and sauces or condiments stored in makeshift plastic bottles are perfectly normal in a kitchen, but in a restaurant of this caliber, they're a bit out of place when they're right under the customer's nose. The only real negative note of the evening came at the end: the "offer" of a taste of two tiny pieces of cheese. Given the extremely small quantity and the use of the word "offer," we never would have expected an extra charge of almost 30 euros. A shame, because it slightly ruined the memory of a dinner and service that up until that point had been excellent in every way. Overall, a great quality restaurant, which with a little more attention to detail could really be impeccable.

Excellent experience for the Young Forks at Canzian's Chef Table. The four-course menu (to which we added cicchetti and small pastries with coffee) was excellent. The restaurant is charming and refined. Watching the kitchen at work while dining is certainly entertaining and very interesting. We enjoyed everything: from the gnocco with ricotta and lobster to the veal cheek. We also chatted a bit with the chef and maître d'.

An exceptional restaurant, a place where you can enjoy the chef's cuisine either at the table or sitting in front of the open kitchen. Refined cuisine for a truly unique experience. The staff is fabulous.

My partner and I booked the "Giovani Forchette" menu for lunch, €50 for five courses. It wasn't indicated that cover charge and bread weren't included, so we were charged an additional fee for these. Furthermore, one of the courses was a small pastry (in addition to the main dessert), a choice that seemed a bit clever. Final bill: 2 "Giovani Forchette" menus 50x2 + cover charge and bread 12 + water 12 + (a glass of champagne and a glass of classic method with a Venetian cicchetto) 25 + 14 = €163. Dishes tasted: Breadsticks with creamed cod as a cicchetto paired with the glass, rather unremarkable scallops au gratin, parmesan rice with licorice and meat stock, suckling pig with sweet and sour sauce, mascarpone ice cream with coffee granita, and small pastries. All the dishes were good, but only the rice with licorice really impressed me. The cod breadsticks were very greasy, and one of the cookies from the small bakery was undercooked—a minor detail, but you wouldn't expect it from a restaurant that aspires to a certain level (perhaps the lack of attention is due to the "budget" menu?). The service was the most disappointing aspect. The maître d' tried to be brilliant, but he made one gaffe after another, coming across as anything but courteous or welcoming: he couldn't open the cork on a sparkling wine, he brought me an already opened champagne instead of the one I requested, and in general he seemed very agitated. The other waiter wasn't any more precise: he didn't bring me bread (which I had to ask for), he poured water hastily, and when he had to explain two dishes, I couldn't understand him very well, both because of his low voice and his uncertain Italian. Even the stained placemat certainly didn't help the overall impression. In conclusion: We didn't eat badly, but we didn't have a memorable meal either. The unexpected costs and lackluster service left a bitter taste in our mouths. Perhaps the difference in treatment is due to the "Young Forks" menu? In any case, it shouldn't be.

Food was good and nicely presented, a few worthy mentions include the cuttlefish balls, fig & scallop dish and the risotto. We had the wine pairing which was done nicely, albeit lacked a dessert wine pairing. Service was friendly enough although could have been more attentive.
