Perfect service, very good lunch; not cheap, but appropriate for the quality

Following an occasion, my partner and I were given a “young forks” voucher for this restaurant in Milan. The menu included a welcome entree + 5 courses. The peculiarity of this voucher was to have a table overlooking the kitchen and giving the possibility of watching how an evening in a professional kitchen unfolds. I must say a very interesting and curious idea. The restaurant is located in the center of Milan, therefore there are no parking spaces unless you pay and they cost an arm and a leg; otherwise the metro is a good way to get around and get there without problems. The service is undoubtedly the best part of the restaurant, impeccable, polite, friendly with excellent explanations of everything we tasted, a few smudges on some curiosities but nothing shocking. The food is of excellent quality and the presentation of the dishes is well taken care of, it's a shame the portions (especially on the first course) are really small. Truly exceptional desserts. Prices (from Milan) so don't expect anything cheap on the contrary. A note of merit really to the staff. Recommended if you like these types of places, for it doesn't go beyond four stars.

Abbiamo provato il menù di Baccalà ed è stato un godimento per i sensi: tutto eccellente , ben curato e con porzioni equilibrate per arrivare sino all’ultimo. Una menzione speciale per il servizio : raro trovare , specie a Milano e peggio a Brera, personale così professionale senza eccedere in manierismo e così cordiale senza essere invadente: bravi ! Bellissimo il locale , silenzioso e con tavoli ben distanziati

We had an amazing business lunch with my friend at this place. The service, the food and the whole atmosphere was on top! We were warmly welcomed by the chef himself and guided through the menu. My friend is vegan so the chef suggested some improvements to the existing menu. Amazing! 10/10. Really, everything was soooo tasty. I will now suggest this place to everyone.

Ambiente accogliente, curato e tranquillo. Provati diversi piatti e diversi vini. Il più interessante è senz'altro il risotto, in carta dal 2013. Il resto è abbastanza buono e ben realizzato, ma nel complesso non si coglie la potenzialità per un riconoscimento stellato.
