Ristorante vecchio stile per una cena estremamente piacevole. Buoni i ravioli, i maccheroni al cinghiale, e la tagliata. Le porzioni sono abbondanti e prezzi bassi. Servizio cordiale ed efficiente

This was completely different experience, we loved it. There is no menu, you don’t pick food, you eat what you’ve been given! They come rounds and serve you 6 different dishes, all plated right in front of you. Great place if you want to try authentic Italian pasta, I think we tried four different pasta dishes, it was absolutely amazing, so tasty! Last course which was mixed grill was not so good - I am not sure if that’s because I was so full already that I could barely move or not haha. They serve you home wine, bottles with no labels, I found this so cute Very well priced as well, it cost €25 per head for all six dishes.

22/12/2023: Tonight we tried one of the oldest places in Lucca, LA CANTINA DI CARIGNANO. The place appears warm and welcoming the furnishings such as the piano, the beamed ceiling and the chandeliers made from wagon wheels create a style that blends between old style and country. The staff is quick but a bit resolute. Good food with traditional cuisine and home-made dishes. The mise en place is good.
30/11/2023: In a good environment, good food, apart from a few small flaws, but we will return.
