Ristorante Stazzo Lu Ciaccaru

09/10/2024: We had lunch and dinner here once as we were staying at the attached hotel. For lunch I would give 3 stars: we had the pasta with tomato sauce and a club sandwich, a beer and water for 65€. The taste was very good, but both portions were incredibly small and you hardly feel full (and I tend to eat small portions). It would perhaps help to serve bread and olive oil. :) I would give 4-5 stars for dinner. Contrary to many reviews, it tasted really good and was well prepared. The menu may not be for every evening, as it tends to feature creative dishes away from the Sardinian classics. We each shared the starter and dessert and each ordered a main course. You can't get wine for less than €10-15 a glass, which is definitely a bit excessive, even for the region, but as I said, you can accept that for a nice dinner. If you live in a hotel and don't want to spend €100-150 every day for dinner for two, you can go to a restaurant nearby. (We can recommend Pilagá for simple pasta dishes or a mixed starter platter.)
28/09/2024: Cenamos aquí dos veces, como huésped del complejo. El restaurante tiene ambiciones, pero ofrece un menú algo limitado, a diferencia de la carta de vinos demasiado grande con algunos de los mejores vinos del país. Tuvimos dificultades para entender las ideas del chef y la elección en el tipo de salsas. El vientre de cerdo con un vinagre como salsa fina no encajaba y no compensaba al cerdo por estar demasiado seco. El pez monje en una corteza estilo Wellington era muy bueno por otro lado al igual que los ravioles de cabra. Porciones de cocina típica nouveau. En comparación con los muchos otros buenos restaurantes en la costa occidental y oriental, la relación calidad-precio faltaba. Las diversiones eran una broma. El personal no reflejó ninguna hospitalidad espontánea, ya sea por el final de la temporada o por falta de inspiración.
