The trio of tortelli was excellent, especially the sweet tortel, a typical Colorno specialty. Super helpful even though we arrived half an hour before the kitchen closed. Wheelchair friendly Recommended!

We stumbled across it a bit by chance, but they still found us a table for two. It has a bar/table area as soon as you enter, followed by the dining/dining room (all the tables are close enough together, I'd say, but not so close as to be a nuisance). The staff is attentive and friendly, and the idea of ​​the lady (I think her grandmother) bringing the dishes to the table is a nice one. Or at least that's what happened to us. The food is good, but nothing too wow-worthy: we had the mushroom lasagna and the tagliatelle with culaccia, a bottle of water and a glass of wine each. It's fine.

Passing by on a trip to the castles of the Duchy of Parma, we stopped at the Reggia in Colorno. Appetizer: Parma ham and sliced ​​local bread. First course: anolini in broth, accompanied by Lambrusco Grasparossa di Chiarli. Parmigiano-Reggiano bites. Coffee. The hostess and her son, who serve at the tables, are courteous and friendly. I had a truly wonderful time: from starter to dessert, every course was a discovery of authentic and excellent flavors. I enjoyed a trio of tortelli for my first course—pumpkin and amaretto, Colorno tortel duls, and herb tortello—expertly combined, transforming every bite into a dance of flavors and aromas. For my second course, I chose the Parma rose, served with roast potatoes: the meat was juicy and flavorful, the potatoes perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was all accompanied by a sparkling Gotturnio superiore, balanced and extremely pleasant, a sign of an excellent selection of suppliers and quality ingredients. I concluded with a delicious, delicate tiramisu, reminiscent of the versions made "the way they used to be." The atmosphere of the osteria/trattoria is authentic, yet refined and elegant. Overall, a fantastic experience that I recommend to anyone who loves traditional cuisine with attention to detail.
