A simple place, but with a genuine flavor.
I'd say that could be the title—it's an unpretentious place, with a chef and a waiter—but what really interested me was the food: I was completely satisfied. Traditional Parmesan dishes prepared with care and without frills, but with substance!
An excellent experience, I'll definitely return.

I celebrated my wedding anniversary with my wife at this small restaurant in the center of Colorno, near the famous Royal Palace. I made a reservation the morning before lunch (I recommend making a reservation, as the place filled up quickly) and we had the opportunity to try the following dishes, which I highly recommend: fettuccine (see photo), vegetarian lasagna, pork tenderloin with grilled vegetables, and scallops. The sbrisolona was good, but the coffee was a bit lacking. The staff was attentive and accommodating to our needs.

Prima della visita alla locale Reggia, ad un centinaio di metri abbiamo trovato questo ristorante. Piccolo, una quarantina di posti a sedere. Non solo un classico ristorante tipico, ma la possibilità di degustare un prosciutto di Parma unico. Non il classico prodotto da banco che possiamo trovare nelle migliori gastronomie, qui si tratta di un numero ristretto di suini allevati e macellati solo per alcuni ristoranti della zona. Si tratta di suini con peso ben superiore ai 200 kg che danno un crudo unico. Uno spettacolo. Il resto del pranzo è molto buono, ma passa in secondo piano difronte al crudo.
