Typical restaurant serving Parmesan cuisine, in a traditional, comfortable setting located in a historic village of Colorno, near the Royal Palace of Maria Luigia.

I had a truly wonderful time: from starter to dessert, every course was a discovery of authentic and excellent flavors. I enjoyed a trio of tortelli for my first course—pumpkin and amaretto, Colorno tortel duls, and herb tortello—expertly combined, transforming every bite into a dance of flavors and aromas. For my second course, I chose the Parma rose, served with roast potatoes: the meat was juicy and flavorful, the potatoes perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was all accompanied by a sparkling Gotturnio superiore, balanced and extremely pleasant, a sign of an excellent selection of suppliers and quality ingredients. I concluded with a delicious, delicate tiramisu, reminiscent of the versions made "the way they used to be." The atmosphere of the osteria/trattoria is authentic, yet refined and elegant. Overall, a fantastic experience that I recommend to anyone who loves traditional cuisine with attention to detail.

A simple place, but with a genuine flavor. I'd say that could be the title—it's an unpretentious place, with a chef and a waiter—but what really interested me was the food: I was completely satisfied. Traditional Parmesan dishes prepared with care and without frills, but with substance! An excellent experience, I'll definitely return.

The menu offers a rich and typical choice, everything delicious, but the portions could be more generous and the desserts could be improved.
