Ristorante Da Pode all' Hotel Sovestro In San gimignano

I stayed here for a couple nights and it was such a great stay overall. The building/rooms are nice and clean, the pool and outdoor space is like a resort, they have a free shuttle to San Gimignano, and the included breakfast was delicious with so many great options to choose from. However, given the price of the stay it seems incredibly cheap that they turn off the air conditioning during the day and the only way to turn it back on is to pay €15 per HOUR. At one point our room was at 29°, which is just unbearable. In the evening they turn the AC back on and let it run overnight until the morning, but good luck if you need to work or relax in your room during the day.

The strong point is more the restaurant than the rooms although these are not bad either.

Wonderful hotel, very clean and with attention to every detail, friendly staff, rich breakfast and top restaurant. Relaxing holiday, view of the hills of San Gimignano. Shuttle service to the historic center and bus stop in front of the hotel.

Beautifully designed, quiet hotel in a typical Tuscan atmosphere. Classic, but neat and clean rooms. Nice swimming pool, extensive breakfast, friendly staff and a good restaurant. Spacious parking lot.

Very nice vacation!!!! We were there for 9 days, everything was perfect. Great breakfast, large selection, very tasty!!!! Rooms very well furnished, nice terrace. 2 pools, the smaller one had very nice shaded areas. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff amazing, rooms very clean . The restaurant food is stunning and first class. Beautiful birthday cake made for my husbands 55th birthday was gorgeous. Absolutely loved it at this hotel and San Gimignano is everything I expected and more. 10 out of 10 for the experience. Thankyou so much to this wonderful hotel.

The best place in Tuscany. An incredible hotel with amazing service

This relatively small hotel is really something special. The positive details in the previous reviews can be fully confirmed. I would particularly like to point out the lovingly maintained complex, the cleanliness in all hotel areas, the beautiful and well-maintained pool area with service. The two ladies at reception, Laura and Agnese, were also great. who try to fulfill all wishes with friendliness and helpfulness. Housekeeping also does a great job. The rooms are looked after to the best every day. The restaurant shines with excellent Tuscan cuisine. A diverse menu with regional dishes and a good selection of wines, including wines from our own cultivation. The preparation and quality of the dishes are excellent and rightly deserve a Michelin mention. Here too, friendliness and even warmth are a given throughout the entire team. The breakfast buffet is rich and well organized. The sweet dishes are particularly worth mentioning. The audience is international and very pleasant. We were guests for 9 days and can highly recommend this hotel with its consistently friendly team. We wish the Failli family and its great staff all the best.

We returned this evening after spending Easter in this hotel. Very nice place surrounded by greenery with two swimming pools (one very beautiful, in a garden full of daisies with various benches and chairs to sit and relax). It is possible to get to San Gimignano on foot with a walk through the greenery that starts right there near the hotel. Rich breakfast with fresh cold cuts and quality desserts. Excellent and plentiful Easter lunch, very kind waiters like all the staff, I want to say! Nice room with a nice terrace overlooking the garden. I would definitely stay here again to take advantage of the two beautiful swimming pools. The environment is very relaxing and we had a really good time, congratulations to everyone!
