The seafood pairings are excellent, with various ingredients, all top-quality, created by Chef Sebastiano. He's a truly delightful person, and I've known him for many years, as did his father before him. The table service was excellent, with the hostess explaining the various dishes (for example, the smoked mackerel appetizer on a bed of sea asparagus, accompanied by a blueberry and mint jam). It's worth trying and returning. A tip from someone who's known the owners for at least thirty years. L’esterno è vagamente scoraggiante: non vedi il lago e ti attendono serramenti di un’altra epoca. Va meglio dentro, perché il locale è piccolo ma a tinte chiare e la signora in sala impone con simulata autorità, in realtà garbo e ironia la sua dichiarata dittatura. Lo chef, per la cena, esige tassativamente che si arrivi tra le 20 e le 20 e 30, in modo che poi si possano aprire le danze e che tutto proceda a dovere. L’ordine prevede antipasti (ricchissimi), secondi (ricchi) e due primi. A seguire il dolce (cannoli siciliani, appoggiati su gelato al fiordilatte e trionfo di frutta). Le portate sono tutte molto abbondanti, la cena è di pesce di mare e tradisce forte accento siculo. Fra gli antipasti, strepitosi il tonno su cavolo rosso e lo sgombro con composta di mora e menta; fra i secondi, lo sgombro con pomodorini, capperi mandorle e pan grattato, e il fritto, vivace. Punto forse più debole, i primi, e non perché giunti evangelicamente ultimi: un po’ avanti di cottura il riso, un po’ disunita la pasta dal suo condimento. Prezzo più che onesto, vista la quantità ma anche la qualità del cibo. Sollecito, attento e simpatico il servizio. Per chi vuole mangiare tanto e sa che la perfezione non è di questo mondo.

Ristorante solo a menù degustazione a base di pesce con forte influenza siciliana. L'unico difetto: servono troppo cibo. Scherzi a parte, bella esperienza: cibo molto buono, servizio molto piacevole. Da rifare.
