It never disappoints; excellent fish

Erano giusto 30 anni che non tornavo "da Piero" Appena entrati ho visto Piero all'opera a a nostro tavolo è arrivato Vincenzo che si è presentato dicendomi che proprio da oggi (13 dicembre 2024) è, assieme ad un collega, subentrato a Piero. Trattasi di persona competente, gentile ed estremamente simpatica che aggiuge valore alla già superlativa qualità del ristorante. Ho promesso che ci tornerò, a breve questa volta. Dimenticavo: solo pesce ma qualità eccellente. Bravi ed auguri per la vostra nuova avventura

Che dire,vengo da Piero da circa 30 anni, ci sarà un perché. Pesce freschissimo, ottima cucina servizio dello staff eccellente e poi Piero che è l'anima del locale. Ieri sera preso piatto di pesce crudo da favola. Per ultimo voglio dire a quelli che si lamentano per il prezzo ( secondo loro), alto, che se vuoi mangiare bene pesce di qualità , la qualità la si deve pagare. Alla prossima.

Good restaurant with lights and shadows. Excellent welcome and friendly staff. They immediately brought us some delicacies without a menu. A Malvasia in a glass offered. We had appetizers and main courses. The fish crudité was very good, the hot fish starter was less so, uninteresting and overall lower than expected. As a second course we took the turbot au gratin. The fish was good but the artichokes as a side dish seemed defrosted and soft. If fresh then they have been overcooked, if defrosted it is unthinkable to bring a frozen vegetable next to a dish like this which costs 35 euros. At some level they are expected to bring only fresh, seasonal vegetables. Price above expectations, higher than the best restaurants in Milan. Paid for two glasses of wine, without being taken from the card, 18 euros and a water without having bought it.

Excellent restaurant. Fresh fish served with grace. Raw fish perfectly seasoned and served. Another course like that. The desserts are great.
