We found ourselves having lunch with a friend during a stop on a motorcycle tour. The place is fabulous! It was a perfect late-September day for an excellent lunch in a quaint restaurant. We ate fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, mutton skewers, and sautéed broccoli, along with dessert and coffee. Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, and we chatted with the owner about the history of the place. A pleasant break before heading home.

Skeptical of the negative reviews. We decided to have lunch here. Everything was perfect, from the owner's courtesy, to the staff's customer service, to the food. A floating location on the lake! We had a juniper-infused pork shank and a tagliata! To finish, a spectacular pineapple tiramisu! It's also dog-friendly! We'll be back.

Arrived at 2:00 PM, great service and hospitality. Excellent dishes (prawns, tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, grilled meat), unparalleled view of the lake from the lake. Everything was perfect. Thank you.

A very pleasant day on the lake, perfect for a group of friends. Entrance with a lounge chair costs €10. The location is beautiful, and the food is delicious; the chef did his best to accommodate us. The price was fair for what we got. The owners are friendly, and the atmosphere is peaceful and clean!

The restaurant is right on the lake, and the view is enchanting! This comes at a price, which no one here asks for. I had eggplant as an appetizer and a pasta dish with zucchini and guanciale, and both were very good. Could anything be improved? Yes, like anywhere else. Plus, you can swim if you like, or rent a canoe for a tour of the lake, in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy... I highly recommend it.

26/06/2025: The restaurant is small but nice, it has a nice atmosphere, the food is very good .... The problem is the slowness of the service .... It is true that we arrived with a group of 30 people without warning but waiting 3 hours to be able to eat the first course seems a bit much to me .... The staff is kind but very nervous .... In summary excellent for going in max 4, I do not recommend it for groups ...
01/06/2025: Quiet atmosphere also given the particular location. Excellent food and Montepulciano wine (try the pizzicotti alla sabina). Applause to the manager who cares a lot about his work taking great care of the quality of his dishes. A piece of advice...at the end of lunch or dinner, don't leave leftovers on the plates....the manager could take it badly...I'm joking, it's an anecdote so that he himself can "recognize us" by reading the review.

05/10/2025: My friends and I wondered why the rating was so low, given the welcoming atmosphere and good, typical trattoria-style meals. Then, when the bill arrived, we realized: it's an affordable place, but the prices aren't commensurate with the type of restaurant. The service is excellent, the tagliatelle with mushrooms are delicious, and the polenta is good. Charging €14 for three slices of tough, gristly pork certainly means it can't get 5 stars. Too bad. With slightly lower prices, I'm sure it would deserve a full 5 stars.
16/08/2025: If you'd like to visit the Garda Abbey, I highly recommend Ristorante Da Lupi. If you're looking for good food, you've come to the right place. Excellent cuisine from the owner, who is also the chef. I highly recommend the pizza, but especially the delicious pasta dishes and escalopes with porcini mushrooms. I'd gladly return.
