Given that I'm Lombard, my wife and I happened to be there on the evening of August 15, 2025. This restaurant, located in the center of Turin, is down-to-earth and simple, offering traditional Piedmontese dishes. The portions are generous, the flavors are excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The restrooms are spacious and clean. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and multilingual. We left satisfied; if I ever return to the city, I'll definitely remember them.

I was pleasantly surprised at this place. The service was excellent and the food delicious. I tried the plim and bunet. Everything was very good quality and tasty. I recommend this place for traditional Piedmontese food.

Historic restaurant in the center of Turin (once frequented by Juventus players).
More of a trattoria than a restaurant, offering traditional Italian cuisine.
Excellent service.
Prices are in line with the central location.
If you're in the center of Turin (Piazza San Carlo/Piazza Castello), this is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner.
They don't make reservations, so try to arrive around opening time to ensure a seat.

Stepping through the looking glass, we were transported back to a charming 1960s interior. The food was absolutely delicious — authentic, honest, and full of flavor. The service was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly. Overall, a fantastic experience for anyone who appreciates honest Italian cuisine served in a truly original and inviting setting.

What an absolute delight to discover this traditional, family owned and run restaurant. The history is in the photos on the walls, and Federica is the consummate hostess; charming, friendly, and caring. We were treated as friends. We ate here 4 consecutive nights and wish we could still be able to go there! The food is old school, fresh and tasty. The extensive menu has delights that we tried, such as: swordfish carpaccio, orechiette al ragu, risotto with prawns and zucchini, fillet with green peppercorns, taccone/ broad beans (we love this one!), and even fusilli al pomodoro. Do yourself a favour and check it out. Thank you for your gracious hospitality that made our Turin visit very special. We'll be back!

Es ist umwerfend ! Frederika, die Chefin mit ihrer Herzlickeit, aber auch alle mit ihrer Freundlichkeit sind unübertroffen. Dazu das Essen, piemontesische Spezialitäten, überregionale Küche, alles solide, sehr gut gekocht- wir haben uns lange nicht so wohl gefühlt!!!

Lugar familiar, decoración agradable, lugar muy piamontes, de los mejores lugares que he comido de Italia, es como comer donde una nonna. Lugar 100% recomendado. Felicitaciones a la familia por su esfuerzo y dedicación.
