A truly authentic osteria in the heart of Buonconvento. The staff makes you feel right at home right away. We shared a plate of delicious gorgonzola and walnut dumplings, followed by a melt-in-the-mouth Florentine steak, accompanied by two delicious sides (artichokes and potatoes), and finished with a fantastic tiramisu and two local liqueurs recommended by the host. The house wine was also good. Fair prices. We will definitely return if we ever find ourselves in Buonconvento again.

A truly welcoming restaurant, with a family atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The cuisine is home-cooked, with attention to detail; you can taste the passion in every dish. Mr. Mario is always discreet and professional in his service, while Mrs. Anna, an excellent cook, moves from table to table with a smile, chatting with guests and making everyone feel at home. The food is high-quality, freshly prepared, and carefully presented. The value for money is unbeatable, and even the house wine, served in a carafe, is surprisingly good. Highly recommended. And for lovers of cacio e pepe pasta... it's a must-try!

Passing through Buon Convento, we stopped for lunch. A delicious cheese platter, a truly exquisite pappardella with wild boar, and a delicious plate of pici cacio e pepe. Highly recommended.
