Typical and well-known restaurant with excellent quality and price

Great food, typical of the area, with added flair. I had the special fish with crispy vegetables that were truly crispy. Even the house wine was good. The service was wonderful as well.

We chose this little restaurant, recommended by friends. We had a great time, feeling right at home. The atmosphere is rustic, the food is excellent, and the wine is delicious. Excellent value for money. The tartare is perhaps the best I've ever had. Pici all'aglione is a must-try. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area again.

Large portions and so-so quality

We came to them in 2021, we were on the road and decided to eat here, it was the best pasta we have ever tasted and after 4 years we couldn't wait to come back to eat here, everything we ate was as good as the first time. Grandma Maria's attention was exceptional. We will definitely come back next time we are in these parts. Highly recommended!

Today with 8 other friends, stopped for lunch. Tables outside ok. They served us in the right way. Carbonated and natural mineral water. Bread. 8 small pieces of cheese and pepper and 1 pappardelle with wild boar. I don't know about the latter. I ate cheese and pepper. Well first of all TASTING portion 😱🤬. From the 5 star restaurant series, you understand right? Then the very sticky pici, the taste not very similar to cheese and pepper. Sporadic, sparsely scattered colors of pepper. Not a good dish from Tuscany place! Then everyone has a coffee. Total expense, which when divided was €15 each. The waiter asks who pays in cash and who pays by card. We look at each other and get up to go inside the cash register. Inside there is the request. We look at each other and everyone decides independently. Here's the beauty that comes. 7 of us pay in cash (be careful, I'm right in front of the cashier and witness all this), me and another of us pay with the debit card. And do you know the latest? He increases our spending by €0.50 and gives us a receipt of €15.50. We get angry, and they, or rather she replies that it is like that. And note carefully, those who paid in cash were not given a receipt. Well then, in addition to not eating well, they behave dishonestly since they do not invoice what they collect and also amortize the cost of the POS with a surcharge. Tutto molto buono! Abbiamo mangiato pici all’aglione, peposo carciofi e fagioli tutto veramente buono anche il tiramisù era fatto bene. Prezzi corretti per la qualità e la quantità. Lo consiglio vivamente. Unica pecca il servizio un pochino frettoloso ma cortese!
