Exceptional view, but above all one of the best first courses I've ever eaten in my life. Super super recommended

The place was recommended to us by a chef friend of ours as a restaurant where you could eat good fresh fish on the island, and so it was. We found the place very nice and nice and the service was attentive and courteous. We highly recommend it.

We were advised to try the restaurant but also warned about the prices (medium-high). Long story short: if you visit Lipari, you must come here (if you like fish, obv). The prices are reasonable if compared to the quality and quantity! I was shocked about the quality of the shrimp tartare, simply the best one I've ever had (I tried a lot of shrimp tartare, trust me). 18€ for a portion (don't worry, the quantity is totally fair). Also the calamarata with fish ragù was perfect. Be careful! The restaurant is in the higher part of Acquacalda, so if you've parked near the beach you've to walk a bit uphill. If you're coming with the bus from Canneto, choose carefully the stop (it's right in front of the restaurant) otherwise you've to walk :) Definitely recommended! P.s. The view is also neat! You can see Salina from the balcony.

Very good but a little expensive

I already knew it because I was here years ago, the nice thing is that the management is the same as usual and I must say that I had a great time every time. Wonderful service and you can taste island specialties which always leave you satisfied due to their quality and simplicity. Very fresh fish, everything excellent.

Excellent traditional fish dishes served on a beautiful terrace overlooking Salina. Medium-high prices like on the whole island.

Historic venue in the hamlet of Acquacalda with a view of the island of Salina. We tried various fish-based dishes and the sensation was of an above-average quality and an unusual freshness. Service and room attendants were always attentive to our requests and never intrusive. The price certainly balanced the dishes chosen. Advised.

Lauro is always a guarantee for fresh food and courteous service. If you are in Lipari you are on the safe side.
