Every time I'm in Florence, we eat at this restaurant. Excellent food and wine, wonderful ambience and very helpful and polite staff!!! The prices are favorable and the quality is excellent!!!

We had the pleasure of having lunch at this restaurant and were really satisfied. The food is excellent, prepared with care and passion, and every dish we tasted was a real delight.
Special thanks to Loredana for her commitment and the kindness with which she welcomed us: her kindness made the experience even more pleasant. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff for their impeccable service and warm hospitality.
If you are looking for a place to eat well and feel at home, this restaurant is the perfect choice. We will definitely be back!

Meh? Large dining room with 2 TVs, so that sort of sets the ambiance…the staff was pleasant the food was very average tasting. The bread somewhat stale and no flavor, the oil and vinegar similar and table salt-not ground.
We had spaghetti pomadore which was bland, the special mushroom risotto-same and the lasagne was fine.
The most annoying part was flies! And it’s winter they were constantly circling the table.
I’m sorry I hate to write bad reviews but the flies put me over the top.

We had a great lunch, I recommend gorgonzola and pear gnocchi, the staff was not only professional but also friendly and gave us advice and in the end we had a great time. the bill more than fair with what we ordered. Considering then that we were a stone's throw from the historic center.

L’Hosteria si trova in una posizione strategica, proprio dietro Piazza del Duomo, nel cuore di Firenze. Considerando la centralità del locale, i prezzi dei primi risultano abbastanza contenuti. Il cibo, pur non essendo eccelso, è comunque buono e soddisfacente. Abbiamo ordinato due primi piatti, semplici ma apprezzabili, perfetti per una pausa dopo una lunga passeggiata tra le bellezze della città.
Nel complesso, un buon punto di ristoro per chi cerca un’opzione conveniente senza allontanarsi dal centro storico. Sicuramente da provare!

Buenísimo. Llevo una semana en Florencia (vengo hace veinticinco años) y es el primer restaurante que me hace feliz. Crostini de entrada (un espectáculo). Luego gnocchi gorgonzola y pistachos y spaghetti pomodoro y albahaca, luego un osobuco monumental, con funghi porcini, aceitunas... Todo perfecto, nada demasiado salado, sabores suaves, equilibrados. La atención fue buena. El mozo era nuevito, pobre, no cazaba una pero muy amable. No puedo quejarme. Amé este lugar. Además nos regalaron dos lemoncellos gigantes. Mañana vuelvo, jeje, en mi último día en Firenze
