The best calzone I've ever eaten at Giovanni's. I highly recommend trying it because he's the master in the area. I hadn't eaten it in years, but it was just as I remembered. TOP.

Excellent place, frequented by locals and tourists alike. Views, good food (especially pizza) and local wine - all at a very good price. It's worth the drive and the bus stops right outside the door.

Lovely location overlooking the sunset, solid food with a few up and downs and the service was mediocre at best and sadly our table was next to a smoking area. Overall, it was a solid experience.

I returned to this restaurant - pizzeria with friends after many years. I'll say right away that we had the pizza by the meter (various flavors) and we found it really good: it's the classic "vicana" pizza, low and with a narrow crust. We prefer it to Neapolitan pizza. There were other people next to our table who were having dinner and from a look at the dishes they seemed very abundant. Next time we'll have dinner. The prices are absolutely reasonable. I give three stars to the environment because unfortunately in the room on the upper floor, from where you can enjoy an enchanting view, there was a large group of Napoli fans who were celebrating the championship and making a hellish racket. It's clear that this doesn't depend on the manager, but perhaps it would have been appropriate to host the group in the other room. Regardless of this small inconvenience, I definitely recommend it at the moment for the pizza and the prices. I'll update the review as soon as we have dinner.

Great view, good quality fish served, decent first courses, helpful and friendly staff, good value for money. It offers private parking and this is very important for the area.

11/08/2025: A restaurant specializing in seafood in the heart of Naples. My opinion is a bit so-so. The food is overall good and of good quality, but if one dish is described in the order and on the menu and then another arrives, something is wrong. If you order a wine and then it arrives with the appetizers (the Trento DOC wine was in the bucket far from us because it was too hot), something is wrong. If, after all this, you aren't even offered a digestive, something is wrong. What a shame.
09/08/2025: We love a bit of chic, we love fish, and voilá! There we had Il Garum. What a fantastic place to end a weekend in Naples. Good service, a nice informal atmosphere on the terrace, and attentive service. Special thanks to our lady who's studying in Naples; she really added a special touch to our evening. A wine connoisseur knows: if your waiter can explain your wine, you're sold. We had a wonderful evening, mille grazie ♥️

12/07/2025: ....."I want to live on some land... just where we eat with a head, a cow, a pig, a chick, a rough tuff house, a little bed, and a breath of country air..." Thus Raffaele Viviani writes a hymn to a life we would all like to live simply.... A simplicity sought also in the food; and in the places where we can enjoy it. An "immersion" that convinces us with the simplicity of "Malinconico" under the colonnade on Via Paisiello. Forgetting the space, the service, and the decor of more renowned establishments, here we sit down to enjoy traditional dishes, well prepared and abundant. At small tables and paper tablecloths; with absolutely affordable prices. We allow ourselves to go back in time, to the '50s and '60s, when needs were fewer and simpler. A time when even feelings were simple... and we were just a year old when the small bar-tavern opened... "....shabby...without reading the newspaper, without regurgitation, slander, nothing... Like the old fashioned way, primitively...without this civilization! A hundred years ago I lived in this land...when I wanted to live for life...va Acerra!" Thanks to Viviani, thanks to the Malinconico trattoria...
