Hotel Restaurant that I have known for more than 20 years, the professionalism, kindness and friendliness of the two spouses who run it together with their son (a great pizza chef) is a guarantee. Welcomed by Mrs. Ornella who manages the reception and dining room and her husband Gianfranco, the chef, you can't help but enjoy yourself, who uses excellent raw materials, the possibility of staying in comfortable rooms and also new spa and wellness center services, furthermore in the summer months they have expanded the service for years with: "At Gianni's kiosk" Immersed in this wonderful park on the banks of the Brembo river, the management of the Hotel da Gianni restaurant is pleased to offer you excellent dishes with grilled meat and fish, tasty pizzas and with bar service, to help you spend relaxing moments; the service takes place mainly in the evening but if the occasion requires it also at lunch...... happy to organize parties for important events with rich buffets and meals that can be lent to the wonderful place. Located on the main road in Zogno (SS470) just a few minutes from San Pellegrino Terme, reserved parking and the possibility of long walks on the new pedestrian and cycle path along the Brembo river.

We came for a dinner. Basic and quiet place but it is a pleasant contrast to the usual noisy and crowded environments. The service was perfect, the dishes and raw materials used were explained to us, which we greatly appreciated. Very kind and helpful staff. Proposals from the local culinary tradition, adequate portions and excellent quality. The prices are slightly high for the place if compared to other places in the category, perhaps even in the nearby and more touristy San Pellegrino, but overall you leave very satisfied. We had a starter of cheeses with honey and compotes, really delicious, two second courses with taragna and two desserts, all very good. If you are passing through the valley it is worth a visit.

Al Chiosco sul fiume ottima cena anche se ha piovuto siamo stati riparati. Tutto buonissimo: costata, zuppetta di cozze e fritto di calamari e gamberi! La degustazione di formaggi deliziosa!!! Il servizio perfetto!!! Grazie e alla prossima!

when I go to Valbrembana I always stop to eat at Gianni's. We eat very well. Fantastic traditional dishes. Abundant and well-groomed! I'm never disappointed. and then the staff and the owner are very good and very kind. vote 10 and praise!!!!

We go to dinner at Gianni's for parties and birthdays

We both stayed overnight and ate and in both cases we had a wonderful time. The room assigned to us was no frills, sufficient for an overnight stay, clean and well soundproofed from the street. Perhaps a little neglected in terms of aesthetics and functionality, but we understand that the owners invest in them and gradually improve them. The restaurant certainly has a different look, more modern and pleasant, but, as always, it should be judged for what it offers... and here it's easy to play, because the cuisine is certainly something to be proud of. Typical Bergamo cuisine with careful selection of zero km ingredients, genuine and carefully cooked (really delicious). But also fish if you want, here too well selected and fresh. Without leaving out the pizzas, but I left these for the next round. A mention for the portions, which are decidedly generous. And I can't fail to mention the service, really friendly, nice, attentive. Starting with the owner who welcomed us and looked after us as if we were the only guests. It is inevitable to reschedule a return for a different (warmer) season to continue enjoying the hospitality and interesting places to visit.

Abbiamo sia pernottato che mangiato e in entrambi i casi ci siamo trovati splendidamente. La camera assegnataci era senza fronzoli, sufficiente per il pernottamento, pulita e ben insonorizzata dalla strada. Forse un poco trascurata nell'estetica e funzionalità, ma abbiamo capito che i proprietari ci investono e man mano le migliorano. Il ristorante ha sicuramente un colpo d'occhio diverso, più moderno e piacevole, ma, come sempre, va giudicato per quello che offre...e qui si gioca facile, perché la cucina è senz'altro un vanto di cui andare fieri. Cucina tipica bergamasca con attenta selezione di ingredienti a km zero, genuini e cucinati con attenzione (davvero golosi). Ma anche pesce se si vuole, anche qui ben selezionato e fresco. Senza tralasciare le pizze, ma queste le ho lasciate per il prossimo giro. Una menzione per le porzioni, decisamente abbondanti. E non posso non citare il servizio, davvero cordiale, simpatico, attento. A cominciare dalla proprietaria che ci ha accolto e seguito come se fossimo gli unici ospiti. Inevitabile riprogrammare un ritorno in una stagione diversa (più calda) per continuare a godere dell'ospitalità e dei luoghi interessanti da visitare.

We have always come to eat in their restaurant (crazy) but we had never stayed with them. What can I say, everything was perfect, we will definitely be back. Kindness and quality
