A rustic, informal place with excellent food and traditional Lucchese and Tuscan dishes. Located in the heart of Lucca, just steps from Piazza San Michele, generous portions, friendly staff, and attention to detail. I highly recommend trying it!

All of Lucca was packed with tourists and young people enjoying aperitifs, but this little square was quiet. Local clientele, attentive service, everything excellent, from start to finish. A pleasant surprise off the beaten track.

A lovely restaurant in a small square in the historic center of Lucca. We stopped for lunch on the recommendation of a local. We ordered a first course just to grab a quick bite. Garfagnana porcini mushroom risotto was a good dish, but the portion was barely more than a taste. When we mentioned this to the staff, they shrugged. If you happen to come in, perhaps ask for a slightly larger portion than the minimum served first.

Tucked away in a secluded square is this local gem. Enjoy a delicious lunch with homemade risotto and a delicious steak tartare.

Nice rustic atmosphere, friendly staff. The restaurant is run by three brothers. Very good pizzas and main courses, and reasonable prices. There must be a reason I've been going there for lunch or dinner for thirty years, right? What do you think? Try it and believe it! 👏👏👏

A restaurant far from the "tourist" restaurants, especially those in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. With more reasonable prices but a varied and attractive menu.

Ci sono capitata per caso cercando un posto dove mangiare i tordelli di domenica a pranzo, quando gli altri ristoranti erano completi. Menù classico di piatti tipici, ho preso i tordelli e un secondo, non posso dire che fossero cattivi, ma nemmeno che mi siano rimasti impressi per il loro gusto. Personale cortese, ma anonimo e senza coinvolgimento. Non il locale dove avrei voglia di tornare.

Autentica, incredibile pizzeria/ristorante di terra e/o di pesce. Servizio celere.
Qualità ed economicità di un tempo ( oggigiorno quasi introvabili).
Lo trovate in zona Porta San Pietro, a fianco della scalinata che sovrasta la stazione ferroviaria. Serve prenotazione. Straconsigliato.
