Simply exceptional in the Finocchio district, a historic restaurant that has stood the test of time since 1972. For lovers of authentic Roman cuisine and beyond, dishes absolutely recommended for true connoisseurs include the expertly cooked lamb offal, divinely exquisite (sourced from Viterbo). For starters, I recommend a trio of crostini with Patanegra lard, balsamic vinegar, and lemon zest, a crostini with porcini mushrooms and summer truffle carpaccio, and a bruschetta with truly delicious datterini tomatoes made with top-quality ingredients. Reading the menu is an invitation to rediscover ancient flavors. On some days, even order the tripe first. Finally, all the dishes are piping hot, an aspect that is often overlooked in restaurants. A restaurant worth sharing and recommending more than any other in the area, and the invitation is also extended to many who perhaps live in the city center, where the cuisine of the past has now given way to tourist traps. The restaurant has several rooms, with jazz music playing in the background, which is already an added bonus. Service is professional and fast. The attentive staff is also very friendly. Mrs. Emirena, daughter of Fernando (the grill master), has taken over the restaurant along with her family, successfully running it. Prices are, in my opinion, fair given the quality, and especially the generous portions. Ample parking. EXCEPTIONAL.

We had a lovely dinner at Osteria Da Fernando. The pasta dishes were very tasty and authentic, especially well seasoned and freshly prepared. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, giving a true Italian feeling. Although we had to wait around 40–60 minutes for a table, the food and overall experience made it worth it. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely a nice place for Italian cuisine.
