I had lunch with my family and a friend of ours, what can I say.... Expensive price but that's not the problem if I get up from the table and I'm still hungry!!! I asked for a slightly richer salad and they brought me two green leaves to pay 7 euros for the salad alone.... They brought us appetizers, 3 portions to be precise... the quantity was for one person, the meat was good, yes, ok, but first go and get a sandwich on the street because you will leave hungry... a total of one salad, 3 appetizers of cured meats and cheeses, a cannelloni, two sausages on the cross, a mini cut, 140 euros 😂 madness

I was in this restaurant on a Friday evening without booking, the very courteous lady welcomed us and seated us shortly after our arrival, the guys who served us were both very young and always kind and professional, we ate very well, the meat was delicious, but in my opinion the pricing policy should be considered, on the menu it specified that a steak was around 500g at a price of €8.00 per hectogram, so having ordered 2 I expected to pay exactly what I paid for the meat, the point is that it is not possible to verify the weight of the meat at the time of cutting, it depends on trust and in my opinion the two steaks I ate were not 600g each, but if you trust the restaurateur this problem does not exist, the painful part is the price of the side dishes, the chicory €8 like 100 grams of meat and it was certainly not 100g of chicory so the chicory per kilo They make you pay more than meat, €7 for baked potatoes seems too much even for potatoes. I repeat, I ate well and the service was ok, I even left a tip for the guys but the side dishes at €8 are excessive.

There are places where you eat well, and then there are places like Osteria da Fernando, where meat becomes a mystical experience.
Let's start with the pièce de résistance: the meat is simply spectacular. Sashi Beef, Florentine steaks, sliced… all cooked to perfection, with that external crust that gives way to an incredible softness on the inside.
The appetizers are no exception: the large platter is a must, with selected cured meats and cheeses that make you want to take a second portion.
The environment is that of an authentic tavern, without too many frills but with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff? Super!
Courteous, fast and always ready to give advice on cuts and cooking.
The service is attentive without being intrusive, and that really makes a difference.

Ristorazione di altissimo livello!! Scelta accurata di ogni salume e formaggio, con abbinamenti e accostamenti sublimi. Ogni piatto presentato al meglio. Ottimi primi e scelta di carni molto particolari. Dolci casalinghi squisiti e un carrello di cognac rum e whisky davvero interessanti e serviti con grande maestria. Ottimi anche i vini, alcuni dei quali da aziende locali. Esperienza davvero unica di cucina di altissimo livello in ambiente familiare.

Locale nella zona periferica di Roma si contraddistingue per qualità dei prodotti: ottima la carne, i salumi e le verdure. Buona cantina di vini e il personale di sala è estremamente cortese e disponibile. Selezione di distillati top. Prezzi in linea con il mercato di zona. Consigliatissimo
