The quality of the products is good as is the plating, the external environment in winter is not the most comfortable, the price is in line with the quality of the food. A note to the waiters when the wine ordered is missing, it is good practice to present the wine list to the customers again and then perhaps suggest alternatives...

Esperienze uniche ogni volta che ci vai. Fausto Ferrante, Chef di straordinaria capacità, riesce sempre a imprimere nella memoria del commensale quel pasto rendendolo unico nel suo genere. Profondo conoscitore delle materie prime che presenta nei suoi capolavori, ti guida attraverso un viaggio nel gusto con eleganza e sobrietà senza tralasciare nulla al caso. Eccellente, tra l'altro, la selezione di birre artigianali.

20/03/2025: I went to Sakura for dinner for the first time... I have to say I had a good time, the only flaw is that since it was dinner, I expected a larger menu, instead few uramaki, which I'm crazy about, especially the cooked ones, and they didn't have condensed milk, which I'm crazy about, with the fried rolls, also missing... It was really the only flaw, otherwise, the atmosphere, waiters and food were excellent!
13/03/2025: Unlike other Japanese/Chinese restaurants, Sakura was born as Chinese and can be seen in the quality of the dishes. Chinese dishes are definitely of a higher level than those of Japanese origin. Comfortable and pleasant environment. Automatic robotic service..... efficiency but cold as marble and above all multi-ethnic. It exceeds the sufficiency but ...... it didn't leave me fully satisfied.

30/03/2025: First time at this place. The interior is very nice and welcoming, typical of a pub. It also has lots of tables outside so perfect in summer. Fast service and excellent food. We will definitely be back. Been back several times, always impeccable and fast service. Last night, we had brought some friends, praising the speed of the service and the goodness of the dishes, but we were disappointed because although they took the order as soon as we arrived, they brought the dishes to us after 45 minutes and the baked potatoes, usually exceptional, only tasted of rosemary. I hope it was a coincidence.... Tried the King and Queen sandwiches, really good
31/01/2025: If Checkmate has existed for twenty years, there must be a reason. The place is very familiar, everyone is extremely kind. The food is very good, and Alberto is one of the nicest people I could meet in my life. Suitable for everyone, adults and children. GREAT ADVICE
