Food was delicious especially the cotoletta and the tortellini alla panna. We also have the tortellini in brodo which was surprisingly very good. Staff is very welcoming and pleasant

Restaurant in the historic center. Typical Modenese cuisine...from cappelletto to fogliata...from cutting boards to boiled meats (an ace up the sleeve.😉) Everything is taken care of and served with kindness and professionalism....waiting times are normal. Experience done several times and definitely to be repeated again.👍🔝

Wonderful place with a variety of local dishes. Hand-made pasta, local mortadella, and very, very hospitable staff. I recommend booking in advance, as it is usually crowded. Really love this place.

This is a meat restaurant so read the menu before you visit. Wasnt happy with the qualityof the food. We received the food before the side of veggies. Bread was stale and you get pre-packaged bread sticks.

Dinner on Wednesday 11 June 2025 with our French friends. We had never eaten at Danilo and it was recommended to us by a friend. We had to find a place in the centre for the convenience of our guests. We ate very well, perfect service, the guys were all very good and we spent the right amount, honestly I thought much more. Danilo is an exquisite person, we will be back soon.

Mittagessen in einem gepflegten Ambiente. Hatte als Hauptspeise Kalb mit Steinpilzen und grünem Spargel (18 €), was sehr gut war. Dazu gegrilltes Gemüse (5 €), das leider den Grill etwas zu lange gesehen hatte (teilweise schwarz). Dazu hatte ich einen guten Trebbiano (0,25 l) für 6 €.

Nos encontramos con Ristorante Danilo mientras visitaba Módena y rápidamente decidimos comer allí para el almuerzo porque tenemos un primo llamado Danilo. Nos sorprendió gratamente lo bueno que era y lo razonablemente asequible que era. El restaurante estaba lleno y el servicio todavía estaba en el lugar. Nuestros platos de pasta eran bastante deliciosos y tuvimos una botella de vino encantadora. El entorno era muy cómodo.
