Mittagessen in einem gepflegten Ambiente. Hatte als Hauptspeise Kalb mit Steinpilzen und grünem Spargel (18 €), was sehr gut war. Dazu gegrilltes Gemüse (5 €), das leider den Grill etwas zu lange gesehen hatte (teilweise schwarz). Dazu hatte ich einen guten Trebbiano (0,25 l) für 6 €.

Tasty dishes but lukewarm both the first and second courses. Too bad because it is a genuine cuisine and the pasta is homemade.

Wonderful food. Probably the best tiramisu I've ever had. The service is good, but a bit rushed. The seats can be a bit hard. However, that's just a minor detail.

Business dinner at this typical Modena restaurant recommended by a colleague. Average food, portions in my opinion small compared to the standard of a typical trattoria. Fast and prepared service. Value for money in my opinion not optimal for the size of the portions. Homemade cake, not very crispy tart, not very fresh.

Excellent restaurant almost in the center. Excellent meats, especially the boiled meat. Kind staff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Historic place in Modena in a very central location. It is a restaurant of the past, where the food is homemade. The staff is kind and ready to exchange a word with everyone. Some might find it slow but in reality that is its beauty.... You are in the center of Modena, surrounded by art and culture and therefore I think it is right to take it a little slow and enjoy the moment. The prices are slightly higher than expected but that is fair given the centrality of the place. If you are from Modena at least once you have to eat here and if you are not it is still an experience to do!

Really delicious food, unfortunately the service leaves much to be desired. They brought a plate with butter when dairy intolerance was specified several times. Also one of the younger waiters seemed almost annoyed when answering

Nos encontramos con Ristorante Danilo mientras visitaba Módena y rápidamente decidimos comer allí para el almuerzo porque tenemos un primo llamado Danilo. Nos sorprendió gratamente lo bueno que era y lo razonablemente asequible que era. El restaurante estaba lleno y el servicio todavía estaba en el lugar. Nuestros platos de pasta eran bastante deliciosos y tuvimos una botella de vino encantadora. El entorno era muy cómodo.

22/05/2025: We had a great time, excellent food and service too.
22/05/2025: Our 1st course, both are good, nice presentation for my Risotto but quite an average, the 2nd course which we shared is just bland with only flavour from Balsamic Vinegar. The Chocolate Salami is to die for, so delicious!!! We also feel that it is a bit over price like many customers mentioned here. Service is very good.

28/05/2025: Excellent traditional home cooking. You feel like you're in Grandma's kitchen. A taste experience from the entree to the dessert. Highly recommended.
23/05/2025: The absolute must in Modena. The lasagne is to die for. We were greeted and served immediately when we went thru the main door. Menu is available via a QR code. ENG language available too. The lasagne is die for, same as the tagliatelle. The place is just amazing! Our last meal at Modena and we could not have asked for better food!
