We had the “Salumi – pecorino – marmellata – gnocco” for our entrée, the “Lasagne verdi al forno” and the “Filetto all’aceto balsamico” (a steak in balsamic reduction with potato purée) as mains, and mascarpone and tiramisu for dessert. Food: The food was excellent overall. The steak in balsamic reduction was of outstanding quality, with an incredibly rich and flavorful sauce—though the purée was just okay. The lasagna was beautifully prepared, with tender meat and a great balance of flavors and textures. The entrée was divine! The gnocco paired with prosciutto, cheese, and fig jam was the perfect way to start the meal—simple, yet absolutely delicious. Desserts were also very good, though not as memorable as the earlier dishes. Ambience & Service: The restaurant has a cozy, homemade vibe, and the food genuinely feels like it’s made with love and care. However, the service left something to be desired. When we arrived, despite plenty of empty tables, we were seated by the door, which was fine at first. But as more guests without reservations arrived, they were given more comfortable seating, which felt unfair and detracted from the experience. Overall: Great food, especially the steak and entrée, but portions were on the smaller side. Service could use improvement, but we still enjoyed the meal and the quality of the dishes. Would recommend for the food, with the caveat about the service.

A parte condividere con me il nome del noto personaggio dell'Operetta di Lehar, ha mantenuto dopo decenni l'alto livello di cucina e di servizio. Oltre ad un ottimo primo piatto emiliano, abbiamo gustato un "bollito misto" (con salse, senapi e mostarde) degno della miglior cucina piemontese.

We were brought here by two friends from Modena. Typical tavern, excellent food quality and impeccable service. absolutely normal price, indeed! well done, keep it up!

The spaghetti carbonara was simply sensational. The Risotto Funghi was also excellent. For dessert, the homemade pana cotta fit perfectly into the taste experience. Eating here is definitely worth it, but you should definitely make a reservation (even during the week).

Today we visited this trattoria restaurant in the center and left extremely satisfied! As soon as we arrive, a very kind and professional waiter asks us if we would like an appetizer and after 3/4 minutes some cured meats arrive with the fried and steaming gnocco! Lunch continues with some delicious typical local tortelloni and we end with wonderful handmade desserts! I recommend it to everyone! Quiet place and everything extremely pleasant!

Wir haben ein Filetto all‘aceto balsamico bestellt. Das beste Fleisch, das wir je in Italien gegessen haben. Es ist auf der Zunge beinahe zerschmolzen. Vergleichbares hatten wir letztes Mal in Argentinien. Zudem dank dem aceto balsamico sehr geschmackvoll. Aber auch der Parmaschinken und die hausgemachten Tortelloni di Ricotta waren hervorragend. Ein Wermutstropfen: im Nachhinein haben wir festgestellt, das uns für das Filetto 5 € 25 statt 20 €, verrechnet wurden.

La definizione stessa di come dovrebbe essere un ristorante ("già trattoria", come recita l'insegna) TIPICO. Le pietenza della tradizione sono a dir poco deliziose. Tortellini dalla sfoglia quasi impalpabile, un bollito che si scioglie letteralmente in bocca, condito con salse spettacolari, mascarpone al cucchiaio a dir poco esaltante. In un posto del genere il personale non poteva che essere all'altezza: cordialità, disponibilità e gentilezza allo stato puro.
