Delicious food! Service was very nice, we asked for a glass of wine with each course and it was poured at the table every time with a nice explanation. Definitely recommended!

I went to this restaurant for dinner during the Modena leg of my trip. Very satisfied! Apart from the extreme courtesy of the waiter, the dishes were very good for a price that in my opinion was absolutely honest (33 euros). The "Bavarian pork butcher" dessert is superb

The two of us ate very well, the waiters found us and set a table where we wanted.
The cuisine is not to be reviewed, we tried first courses, second courses and desserts and if I were in Modena I would go there every week.
The bill is perfectly in line with what you choose to eat and the coffee is very good, I seem to have understood that it is from a local roastery.

Fantastic food, amazing service. Proper traditional, family-run restaurant serving simple but delicious dishes. Particular highlights were the steak cooked in Modenese Balsamic Vinegar and the Carpaccio. They do lots of slow-cooked meat which falls off the bone, all served with hearty vegetable side dishes. Incredibly quick service as a lot of it is either slow-cooked, pre-prepared (e.g. desserts) or quick to cook (steak, pasta etc.) Prices very reasonable for the quality and service. We went on three nights and spent between €60-75 for two people, two courses, with the house wine.

For being in the city center, excellent quality/price ratio. Typical cuisine, well prepared and with the right variety. The atmosphere is that of a former trattoria, welcoming (a little warm inside...but the season is to blame), frequented by tourists and locals alike, which is always a precious indicator.

Great rustic food, consisting mainly of local dishes, much of which involved Balsamic vinegar, including an amazing steak, and a range of pastas and slow cooked meats, such as beef, goat and ossobuco. The food was very reasonably priced, and accompanied by lovely bread and local wines. The staff were friendly and attentive, and they all had enough English. There was sitting inside and out, and the clientele was mix of locals and visitors.

I was able to eat traditional Modena cuisine, and the beef steak with plenty of balsamic vinegar was a luxurious dish with no complaints in terms of taste and volume. The refreshing flavor of the fillet and the sweet and sour taste of the balsamic vinegar harmonize, creating a taste that you won't find anywhere else.

Si mangia come una volta, nel modo come una volta, ai prezzi di come una volta. Se cerchi la cucina fusion non è il posto per te. Se cerchi i sapori di un tempo (e che tuttora rimangono quelli più buoni) allora puoi prenotare in questo ristorante.
Piatti della tradizione veramente buoni. Servizio veloce e prezzi bassi. Consigliabile la prenotazione

Buono ma non ci tornerei…
Attesa lunga prima che ci comunicassero se ci fosse un tavolo, non avevamo prenotato.
Siamo stati messi in veranda, carina, ma si schiantava di caldo.
Cibo buono ma non ci tornerei.
