Restaurant run by mother and daughter with excellent homemade cuisine. Worth trying both for the cuisine but also for the wonderful view of the Ticino. I particularly recommend the agnolotti with Chianina ragout and the dessert Milaneghina.

Restaurant immersed in the Ticino park, truly enviable location, wonderful view of the river and the fauna, in particular the veranda overlooking the river is beautiful but also from inside the windows you can see a splendid landscape. The food is good, homemade, few choices but they vary, and the prices are excellent (first courses 10-12 euros, second courses 10-16 euros if I remember correctly). Absolutely worth trying is the Milanese dessert, a typical dessert consisting of a slice of raisin panettone heated on the griddle, with orange cream, ice cream and grand marnier. From what I understand, the place is managed by only two ladies, Bruno's wife and his daughter, and they really do their best to please the guests and manage the whole structure which is enormous as best as possible. Precisely for this reason the service can be a little slow, but since there are only two of us it would be difficult to do the opposite! the idea is that one goes to relax and enjoy the place and the atmosphere, not to have lunch in a hurry as if it were a working lunch. I don't really fully understand the negative reviews, because you can't judge this place with the standards of a starred restaurant but you have to contextualize it for what it is. We had a great time for a birthday and the ladies are very kind.

Nice restaurant with local specialties

A slightly hidden local wedding, if you don't know it you won't find it but it's a very beautiful location in Ticino which you can also see from the windows. The food was very good and the staff were very courteous. I can't help but give everything 5 stars but in my opinion, I repeat, it's a little too hidden there. I would go back with my eyes closed

Let's start from scratch. First of all, thanks to my colleague Antonio for the review which convinced me to go to Ristorante da Bruno after accompanying my daughter to Malpensa. Arriving around midday, my wife and I were welcomed by Mrs. Graziella? (I hope I'm not wrong) who made us sit on the terrace. We ordered tagliolini with cream, fried fish and sliced ​​meat. Well everything is perfect in an atmosphere of peace. We will be back.

Ristorante da Bruno, evaluations must always be contextualized for the particularity of the place, and this restaurant immersed in the quiet of the Ticino Park is a true icon of simplicity, tranquility. Family run, I go there for lunch in the summer on the terrace overlooking the river and I often hear the song of the Blackcaps in love, I observe the Hoopoes going to their nests returning from the hunt... My dishes are fried fish, always plentiful, and homemade first courses... The real cool thing is the environment and the quiet of the sun with the cicadas at the end, for me Bruno represents summer... ...otherwise the banquet hall is used for ceremonies, but I won't give up the terrace overlooking the river with the company of my beloved winged birds... it would be the place for ethologists and ornithologists and in any case for those who appreciate the simple quiet and unpaid shade of plants....
