Clean place facing the pier, simple menu but the raw materials are of good quality. Excellent service and honest prices for the context. Recommended

We went to this restaurant with great expectations, but unfortunately the experience was not up to par, especially for the treatment we received. From the very beginning we had the impression of being considered "out of place", perhaps because of our age (25 years) in a place where the average age was well over 50. The service was cold, almost annoyed, and we felt more tolerated than welcomed. The food was inconsistent: • The risotto was unfortunately not very successful, with a rice that does not overcook and a strong flavor that covered everything else. • The mixed grill, although dry, was good overall. • The scampi, on the other hand, were really good. • At the end of the meal they kindly offered us the amari, a gesture appreciated. Very negative note on the air conditioning: very cold and pointed at you, we pointed it out several times but we were told that it could not be adjusted because the waiters were hot - while in the room there was even a lady with a scarf, and it was very hot outside. Frankly, a management that paid little attention to the comfort of the guests. In short: unwelcoming atmosphere, distant service, inconsistent cuisine. Maybe simply not the right place for a young clientele - or maybe it should be a little more so.

This typical trattoria is always a confirmation. Excellent fish, pleasant atmosphere with good background music, super owners. Excellent value for money. Not to be missed!!!?

Good fish restaurant overlooking the canal of the pier of Castiglione della Pescaia. After a tour of the city, very beautiful and intimate, and the nature reserve I stopped for a plate of spaghetti with clams and bottarga: very good, a glass of good wine, very cheap prices and friendly staff. Absolutely to try!!!+++

Ristorante in ottima posizione. Da migliorare sicuramente arredamento e Servizio. pesce alla griglia si presenta più che buona da evitare sicuramente il risotto. Comunque gentili prezzo nella norma

Really nice and fine restaurant with good food! We could choose from the menu or something from the daily menu! A good drop of wine was offered with it! Unfortunately there is no house wine here! The service, a young lady, was extremely on the ball and always looked after us very nicely and courteously! Like the rest of the restaurant! We were very satisfied!

Ottimo pranzo a base di pesce fresco. Antonietta, una conferma. Buonissimo!!! Ormai ci veniamo da anni. D'inverno quando andiamo a Principina a casa al mare, è un must almeno un pranzo a Castiglioni (come dicono i maremmani) e quindi da Antonietta. Poi in genere apriamo la stagione ....e quindi poi a settembre/otttobre quando salutiamo definitamente il mare prima dell'inverno.
