It was a very pleasant experience. Elegant and well-kept place, very good and attentive wait staff. High quality raw materials for a cuisine that is based on strong local roots, but innovates with great mastery of preparation and cooking techniques. Everything excellent. Stunning onion soup.

Elegant restaurant with a truly serene atmosphere. The chef's passion can be felt throughout and his presence among the tables is certainly a plus. Personally, I would include at least one simpler dish for some children/kids. I would go back.

I spent my birthday lunch in this restaurant with my partner to celebrate it in an intimate way. It was an excellent experience. Food which to say is excellent would be an understatement, splendid wines, attentive and extremely courteous, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Roberto was also present and personally came by to greet everyone and ask how lunch was progressing, a gesture which in my opinion was beautiful and not to be taken for granted. We will certainly find an opportunity to return and repeat a beautiful day and experience like this. Thank you.

Wonderful evening, impeccable service and fabulous food. Compliments! Value for money 10+!! Wonderful "cream or velvety" while the chocolate cake is absolutely the best we have ever eaten. Very light and delicious.

Refined but very "familiar" environment with the hosts, Chef Valbuzzi first and foremost, smiling and very available to illustrate the menu items and the structure of the restaurant. We follow the advice of the Chef who directs us to the tasting menu of the Varese area rather than the renowned Valtellina-style tasting menu..... Never was a more appropriate choice!!!! An alternation of hot and cold courses, explosions of incredible flavors that reach their apotheosis in a spaghetti with three tomatoes that literally short-circuits your taste buds. The dining room staff is always friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable in explaining each dish An evening worth repeating for sure to discover new "works" of the Chef

Excelente comida, ubicación y servicio. La comida es extremadamente sabrosa, bien presentada y hecha con ingredientes de primera calidad. Tienen una buena selección de vinos y el personal es extremadamente amable y profesional. La ubicación es preciosa y ahora decorada con buen gusto para Navidad. ¡Debes probar sus pizzoccheri y la carne de tzigoiner (en un pincho de madera) se derrite en tu boca! Muy recomendable

Crotto Valtellina occupa di diritto un posto nell' eccellenza della ristorazione a Varese e dintorni. Ristorante di lunghissima tradizione, ha saputo ammodernare la sua offerta, pur senza perdere i legami con i piatti tipici valtellinesi che hanno contribuito a costruirne la fama. La proposta è infatti divisa tra menù valtellinese storico, e piatti della tradizione del varesotto e comasco, rivisitati in chiave moderna. È qui che il tocco di Chef Roberto Valbuzzi, terza generazione di artisti della cucina, si fa sentire. Il personale è puntuale e professionale, il servizio è attento senza essere invadente, e l'ambiente, rinnovato in anni recenti, è piacevole e accogliente ed offre la sera un colpo d'occhio notevole sulla grotta naturale illuminata in maniera scenografica. Non è un locale economico, quindi siate disposti a pagare un conto ben più alto della media, tenendo tuttavia presente che la qualità e la professionalità hanno un costo. Posso però affermare che una cena al Crotto Valtellina è un'esperienza che lascerà soddisfatti anche gli avventori più esigenti.
