Everything was perfect from the welcome given on arrival, to the food, to the place itself. Very professional and discreet dining room staff; the food is "exceptional" everything brings back tradition but with just enough modernity.

Roberto Valbuzzi defined as the new child prodigy of Italian cuisine pushes us to try his restaurant. To get to know his idea of cooking better, we order the "discovery" menu with dishes far from the typical Aosta Valley cuisine. An excellent discovery, especially the two first courses and the appetizer where the family garden is found. Excellent quality raw materials. A deserved 8. The service however has major flaws. There is not a dedicated person at the table (6 dishes served 5 different people serving). A break from the kitchen, between the duck and the fillet the table is completely cleared and then everything is re-set with apologies. I would say 4. As chef Valbuzzi says many times to "courtesy", a 6 1/2 of encouragement. A shame because in this way the quality of the cuisine is lost. We will be back to try the Valtellina part.

Crotto Valtellina is not just a restaurant, it is a piece of living history set among the rocks of an old quarry. It's really exciting to think that right there, years ago, the people of the town gathered to dance, celebrate and share food, taking their tables home. And those tables, with all their experience, are still there today, giving warmth and authenticity to a unique atmosphere. The cuisine lives up to the context: traditional and genuine dishes, served in a welcoming environment rich in history. The staff is discreet, kind and very attentive. I asked to bring a dessert with a lit candle for my husband, and they were simply perfect: delicate, punctual, with a touch of thoughtfulness that really makes the difference.

Very nice, well-kept, intimate place, ideal for a romantic dinner, but also for celebrating some special occasion with the family. We have been there several times, both for lunch and dinner and the experience has always been excellent. The food, as well as being presented in a refined and particular way, is very good, you can feel that the raw materials are of high quality. There is always a traditional menu, with typical dishes of the Valtellina tradition, and a seasonal menu that varies. The staff is extremely kind and polite, chef Valbuzzi, when he is in charge, always comes out to greet and have a chat with customers. Medium-high prices, but justified.

Ottimo ristorante dove assaggiare le specialità valtellinese.... Fantastici gli sciat ed i pizzoccheri (nella versione con aglio e cipolla o senza a seconda dei gusti).... Buoni i secondi di carne e.... E degni di nota i dolci..... Servizio 5 stelle e locale molto curato

Excelente comida, ubicación y servicio. La comida es extremadamente sabrosa, bien presentada y hecha con ingredientes de primera calidad. Tienen una buena selección de vinos y el personal es extremadamente amable y profesional. La ubicación es preciosa y ahora decorada con buen gusto para Navidad.
¡Debes probar sus pizzoccheri y la carne de tzigoiner (en un pincho de madera) se derrite en tu boca! Muy recomendable
