Ristorante Cozzeria Solemare In Castellammare del golfo

My partner and I had dinner at this restaurant specializing in mussel-based dishes. The atmosphere was very informal, we were the only customers in the room, which made the experience calm and relaxed. The waiters, two young guys, were really kind and friendly. We appreciated the quality of the food: I had an appetizer of sweet and sour sardines and a second course of seared tuna with a pistachio crust. My partner, being gluten intolerant, was able to choose from a separate AIC certified menu and ate a plate of clams and one of gluten-free spaghetti with prawns and pistachios. We also shared a caponata as a side dish. Everything was very good. The prices were adequate for the quality of the food and service (74 euros). I would recommend La Cozzeria for family lunches or dinners, as a couple, and also for tourists who are in the area.

At the very end of the road, were the nick-nack-noise fade and the quietness begin, you will find this little pearl. The nicest staff we ever met run this beautiful restaurant, serving food, which were among the best we had. Even the view is superb – overlooking the harbour and the old castle. It seems like a lot of the guest are locals, which is a good indicator of the brilliance service this restaurant deliver.

Very kind and helpful staff, refined and quality home cooking, they don't make you wait, and they go out of their way for the smallest request, you can feel that the fish is good and very fresh, you never leave with an empty stomach, the proposals are special and interesting, right portions. Highly recommended
