Ristorante Coquille Lounge Bar In Ischia

07/09/2025: During a short vacation in Ischia, on the recommendation of some residents, I was able to enjoy excellent food at "Mare Chiaia," a restaurant and pizzeria run by my good friend Alessandro. We went for dinner on September 2 and 3, 2025. The first evening, we enjoyed excellent pizzas and excellent mussel-based first courses. The second evening, we enjoyed a delicious tempura, cod-based second courses, and excellent first courses (paccheri with amberjack sauce and monkfish sauce), all accompanied by an excellent white wine, and to finish, a delicious dessert accompanied by an excellent local liqueur. What can I say? Alessandro (the owner) is a delightful, kind, and sociable person. The staff is courteous, friendly, and ready to accommodate any request (and unlike some annoying, nosy, and often incompetent places). What can I say? There are few places where you can find all this, so I can only be satisfied. And, on a future trip, who knows, maybe back to Ischia (a wonderful place), my go-to pizzeria will be MARE CHIAIA.
