We arrived by chance for lunch late but they welcomed us anyway. I ate well, maybe a little too much cheese compared to the meat but the truffle was really good and the prices were honest

Frequentiamo Gubbio da diversi anni, questo è uno dei ristoranti dove siamo soliti mangiare. Porzioni giuste, prezzi onesti, buono sia ristorante che pizzeria. Da veneto posso dire il tiramisù è fatto veramente bene. Un po' scomodo perché fuori dal centro, ma ci sono un sacco di parcheggi sia davanti che dietro. Un po' rumoroso perché é sempre affollato.

We have been going to Gubbio for several years, this is one of the restaurants where we usually eat. Right portions, honest prices, both restaurant and pizzeria are good. As a Venetian I can say the tiramisu is really well made. It is just a little inconvenient because it is outside the center, but there are lots of parking spaces both in front and behind. A little noisy because it is always crowded.

When I come down from the north towards the Lower Marche, I go a little longer and stop at the "Contessa", the "genius loci" of catering and hospitality. Dishes that are fair in quality and cost. I won't disdain the return.

Cena ottima, personale disponibile e gentile...oltre a trovarmi subito il posto il servizio è stato veloce e la qualità insieme alle porzioni di tutto rispetto. Io e i miei figli siamo stati soddisfatti.

19/04/2025: Cena sorprendente in un ristorante che sa unire tradizione e originalità senza forzature. Già dagli antipasti si capisce che qui la cucina è pensata: il baccalà era morbidissimo, sapido al punto giusto, un uovo alla curda che non avevo mai provato prima davvero interessante. I primi piatti sono stati il vero punto forte: gli gnocchi al ragù d’oca erano intensi, con una carne tenera e saporita, avvolta in una sughi che sapeva di tempo e pazienza. Gli spaghetti cacio e pepe carciofi? Perfetti. Servizio attento e cortese, atmosfera rilassata. Tornerò sicuramente per scoprire il resto del menu.
