Exceptional dining experience in Turin. Truly exceptional. This fancy restaurant managed to “make offal great again” with such precision, inventiveness, creativity and balance that they must be applauded. Some dishes are very traditional (like fifth quarter) but with such a brilliant twist it’s not gonna feel like eating at your evil granny’s house. Other dishes are marvellously new, like the prickly pear ceviche (personally, the best ceviche I’ve ever eaten). Overall an absolutely exceptional experience!

Perfect from start to finish: a top-notch welcome, a chef who creates dishes of incredible creativity and flavor… we were blown away… and a sublime wine list. Bravo to the entire team. We're already looking forward to returning.

We highly enjoyed our dinner experience at Consorzio, the atmosphere was warm and intimate, our server gave us guidance and recommendations, you could tell she knew the menu and ingredients. The food was spectacular and memorable. Thank you for everything! We will be back and recommend it :).

Ristorante Consorzio is a well-known and highly regarded restaurant in Turin, especially for the quality of its cuisine, which in our experience has lived up to its reputation. The dishes are well-executed, including the desserts, and are rooted in Piedmontese tradition. They use quality ingredients and offer an overall good quality/price ratio, which remains one of the restaurant's strong points. We have some reservations about the ambiance: the dining room, although well-attended, is, in our humble opinion, very dark and dimly lit. This is likely a deliberate stylistic choice, but I personally found it detracted from the overall comfort of the experience, especially at lunch. It may be romantic at dinner, but less so at lunch. The most critical point, however, concerns the service, which has raised concerns already noted in many other reviews and which, unfortunately, in our experience, proved to be well-founded. While the kindness and helpfulness of a young woman (Agnese), a woman with glasses, and a young man with a beard deserve positive mention, the attitude of a young waiter stood out as a negative: sloppy manners, difficulty correctly understanding the order, and, above all, inadequate management of the error, even going so far as to shift the blame onto us. This behavior leaves us perplexed and is at odds with the caliber of the cuisine and the restaurant's image. We feel this is not an isolated incident, but a critical issue already reported by several customers. For this very reason, this comment is intended to be constructive: it's truly a shame that subpar service risks compromising a dining experience that, in terms of food, deserves much better recollection. With careful intervention by the owners regarding dining room management and staff training, the Consortium could fully realize its potential. The foundation is solid, the cuisine works, the price is fair: the only thing left to do is fill that gap in service, which today represents the only real limitation of a restaurant that has all the credentials to excel.

Well, the food we chose definitely it didn’t meet our expectations. If there’s a next time i’d try another dish, not the risotto or lamb belly

Top marks! Pickled and fried anchovies were superb and so was the salad (prickly pear)

The ingredients were high quality, the dishes were good but nothing exceptional (the fried egg was delicious, the tartare and the pasta dishes were nothing special). The service wasn't fantastic, very rushed. The atmosphere was nice. The bill was definitely too high for the quality and size of the portions. We had a good time, but I don't think I'll return; there are better places to eat in Turin (and with more reasonable prices).

Not cheap at all, but the cuisine is top quality and the wine cellar is the envy of many.
