Let's start with the important things: the food is very good. The menu features many unique dishes that aren't usually easy to find. The Cod and Marrow and the Ravioli Finanziera were executed perfectly. But, in a restaurant of this caliber, hospitality is just as important as the cuisine, and in this regard, the Consortium was a disappointment. The pre-arrival experience requires a €50 deposit per person. Irritating in Manhattan, in Turin it's more ridiculous. I even saw the head waiter turn away a guest who arrived out of breath, after getting lost, 35 minutes before closing, while the kitchen was still in full swing. This kind of behavior is unacceptable in high-end restaurants. Final verdict: good, but not pleasant.

Delicious food. Original regional dishes. Cozy atmosphere. I would definitely recommend making a reservation.

Really remarkable, it was a pleasure

The atmosphere and the music are good, easy to talk. But…cold waiters, no explanation of the dishes, they just put the plates on the table with “for who is the pasta”. We asked for guidance for choosing a bottle that would match our order. The options were presented as “lighter” ans “has more body”. It felt like the waitress has never tasted any of these. Then we discovered that our wine choice was out of stock. At this level of the restaurant one would expect that the team have the debriefing before service and do not suggest unavailable options. I ordered “Animella cetriolo e menta” - Sweetbread and Lamb as a 2nd course. The meat in both courses was very well cooked and tender, but both dishes were swimming in mustard sauce that covered all the other flavors, which is really a pity for such a high quality veal and lamb. Both sauces had mustard grains in excess and were quite identical. It was hard to finish the plates despite the small portion. I warned the stuff about allergies in the reservation but I don’t think they read it and I had to explain again. As an epitome, they gave me an end of meal palate cleanser full of my allergens. Thankfully, I noticed it before trying and did not have to end my evening in a hospital. The restaurant must struggle financially to be that much in a hurry. We were given the check at 21.29. It felt like a conveyor belt.

I want to preface this review by saying this is an offal restaurant, meaning they use the internal organs to cook with. Such a unique experience! They had natural wines by the glass on a board in the front of the restaurant. The drinks menu was for bottles only. For appetizers we ordered the bacon dish with egg and the fried anchovies. The anchovies three ways was SO GOOD. I felt the bacon dish was a bit heavy, but still great. For my main I ordered the tagliatelle with beef heart, it was so creamy and delicious. I cannot express how delicious this was ! And for dessert we had the pane cotta, again, a creamy explosion of flavor. I left very full!! It was a bit heavy on the cream side, as I’m lactose intolerant. But well worth the stomach ache.

I was invited to dinner at this place ;) The food was good, with quality ingredients and meticulously prepared, but honestly, it didn't leave us with the "wow" effect we were expecting, especially considering the price and the restaurant's reputation. One detail that left us a little perplexed: we arrived a few minutes early (we're talking 5-10 minutes before our reservation time) and were invited to leave and come back later ☺️I understand the precision, but the welcome could have been a little more flexible or warm. Overall, a decent experience, but not among the best we've had.

Very interesting food, emphasising on intestines with local ingredients. Very interesting list of local wines.

En un viaje de tres noches a Turín, esta fue con mucho la mejor experiencia gastronómica, mejor incluso que un Michelin de una estrella. Por la calidad de la comida, los precios son muy razonables, y el vino es excepcional. El somellier está muy bien informado y me recomendó un magnífico rojo toscano que wad solo 30 € y en mi opinión mejor que la botella de 120 € que una vez tuve en un restaurante de lujo! La comida es muy buena. Todo estaba muy sabroso, excelente calidad. Una experiencia de restaurante muy agradable. Volveré allí de nuevo sin duda!
