Slightly outside Siena, located inside a very welcoming campsite surrounded by greenery, quiet, and with very friendly staff. The Tuscan specialties and pizza are excellent. Recommended 👍

When I booked, I was skeptical because of the low price compared to many others in the area. Once I got there, I had to change my mind. It's a very beautiful, quiet place, with very kind and helpful staff. The food quality is excellent. We returned after two years and nothing has changed; everything was as good as I remembered.

Picked up two pizzas for the campsite. They were fantastic! A good size to enjoy with a beer in the evening. The salami was delicious and very spicy.

I can't agree with the previous speaker. My wife had the mixed regional sausage and cheese platter for starters, and spinach and ricotta ravioli for the main course. I had a pizza delicato. For dessert, we had crema catalana. It tasted excellent. The service is very attentive and extremely fast. The only unusual thing is that you pay behind the bar in a kind of office. But that's not a problem.

Mao Bar

12/08/2025: The owner is very friendly and helpful. We stopped here with our two large dogs by chance and were hungry before reaching the Abbey of San Galgano. The atmosphere is very nice and well-kept. The platters are very rich and delicious, as are the bread and house wine. It's a shame it's so far from home (PC), otherwise it would be one of our favorite places.
