Ristorante Cinese Zhu Huang In Magenta

This Chinese restaurant is located on the edge of the city center. We had planned to eat somewhere else on Monday evening, but it was closed. Looking for something different, we ended up here, and we didn't regret it. The place was packed with Italians, which was a good sign. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The menu is different from Chinese restaurants in the Netherlands, but still features some familiar dishes. We had a delicious meal with a good house wine. And everything was reasonably priced. The only thing that was unusual was that every now and then a single dish arrived, and not the entire order at once (but that wasn't a problem).

A typical '90s Chinese restaurant, authentic and simple. The homemade dumplings are excellent, as are the other dishes. The duck is a must-try.
