Intrigued (but not deterred) by the restaurant's Michelin-starred listing, we immediately noticed the restaurant's dedication to creating a unique atmosphere. The setting is elegant and welcoming, with lighting and décor that lend the entire place a truly evocative atmosphere. It's immediately clear that this is no ordinary Chinese restaurant. The true highlight of the Bon Wei is, without a doubt, the service. The staff is impeccably professional, staffed by waiters who are not only experts, but also know the menu by heart and are ready to guide guests through their gastronomic journey with expert recommendations. Their attentiveness and expertise are its true strength. The cuisine, exquisitely Chinese, is presented through a well-structured menu, which divides typical dishes by region, allowing you to explore different traditions. The food is excellent overall: the ingredients are excellent and the cooking is professional and flawless, with attention to every detail. It should be noted that the portions are not particularly generous, a detail that is normal for a restaurant of this caliber. The only weakness I found is the plating, which doesn't always live up to the intrinsic quality of the dish. For lovers of fine wine, the wine cellar is remarkably well-stocked, ranging authoritatively from Italian, French, Spanish, and even Californian wines, offering pairings worthy of the culinary offerings.
