We came for lunch by chance because we were cooked by the Roman heat. The restaurant was empty, but it was worth it. The quality of the sashimi is excellent, as is the preparation of the huramaki and gunkan, don't be intimidated by the exterior of the restaurant. The interior is very well-kept and the food is good!

Definitely the best Japanese restaurant in Rome! Wonderful service, fresh fish, and traditional food!

Inside it's not bad, definitely recommended for a couple's dinner... The chairs are a bit uncomfortable and the tables are a bit too ruined (rusty). On Friday night you pay 28 obviously with drinks outside, the food is good but the portions are too big for my taste. The menu even in the evening is very limited compared to practically all the you can eat especially in northern Italy where I've been.

I had the 15pc sashimi sea bass tuna and salmon all so fresh and then had chicken yakitori which was also amazing! Wish I’d of came here sooner on my trip!

I used to stay here a few times when there was a regular lodging nearby. It is run by East Asian staff and chefs, but it is not the typical "imitation Japanese food" they serve, but rather Japanese food that even Japanese people would be happy with (not because they are homesick). The sashimi, prepared by a chef who has experience training in Japan, was good.
