This place came highly recommended by conservative gourmet friends. Serves traditional Italian cooking, extremely correct though without contemporary influences or phantasy, something rare to find these days. If on the one hand service tends to fit every wish, they also envisage selling more. Quiet and selective (while back room packed with Chinese tourists).

A traditional restaurant with a refined touch. Courteous welcome, professional staff. The menu has traditional Bolognese dishes and also Roman cuisine. I ate a plate of excellent quality carbonara mezze sleeves, I liked them very much. As a second veal "baker" style, very tender and with an exquisite flavour. Potatoes garnish the dish and herbs dragged into the pan. All done in a masterly manner. Two glasses of "Tuscan" red, a bottle of water and coffee. The price paid, slightly higher than average, is more than justified by the quality of the raw materials and the level of the staff, including the chef. I highly recommend. PS The environment is quiet and not noisy at all, which is rare and very much appreciated by me

“Da Cesarina” è un ristorante di grande tradizione. È aperto da metà degli anni cinquanta. Le materie prime usate sono di grandissima qualità e il personale italiano è si grandissima qualità. Consigliatissimo.

A restaurateur of excellence for how he manages the place and welcomes customers!
A very traditional place where you can breathe the atmosphere of the good life.
The traditional Roman cuisine embraces that of Emilia and in some places that of Sicily.... we ate an excellent caponata!
The dishes were all good with an excellent artichoke alla giudia and tuna fish with cacio e pepe. The desserts are also very good

per la prima volta, pranzo di natale al ristorante. occorre però un locale caldo, familiare, vintage, che non metta in imbarazzo o malinconia. cesarina si conferma la scelta giusta. i commensali sono molto soddisfatti della qualità, molto, i piatti sono quelli che avremmo preparato, o voluto preparare, a casa, l'ambiente è davvero casalingo, un viaggio indietro nel tempo. ci torneremo per un pasto meno impegnativo. il prezzo è sostenuto ma non esoso, adeguato

An excellent lunch, worth mentioning pumpkin tortelli, boiled meat, suckling pig etc etc. Fast and friendly staff. Clean toilets. The very dated environment feels like 'my grandparents' house' and leaves a bit of sadness

Very classic style historic restaurant.
Vast vegetable appetizer buffet, excellent tortellini, homemade gnocchi, but above all the second courses: suckling pig, ossobuco, Milanese cutlet and Barolo beef hachè made by them!!
The fries also made to stick by them, not frozen.
Very private and well attended at lunch.
Staff a little dated, but with experience and kindness.
